Just hit HR 8, I know i'm barely scratching the surface so far but in terms of armor, should I be trying to build every full set? I've been picking stuff that looks cool or has perks I like, but the elemental resistance stats sometimes make me anxious.

Also, should I be using more than 1 weapon type? GS is fun as hell when I can land everything but the movement speed is a nightmare.

The biggest mental block is how one button press can equal multiple hits. Familiarize yourself with how it works, stop trying to attack bad hitzones, and mix in normal attacks between demon flurries.

Not really. Build what you want, though all the armors you're making now will be pretty useless once you hit High Rank.

Yes, Downy Crakes. Same spawn-rate as Bristly Crake. Getting at least one with the net gets you a cheevo. Use ghillie mantle to sneak up on it.

yeah those are them (downy crake) they're a ridiculous flight risk though,apparently it's best to have palico stay behind whilst all ghillied up when trying to get one,same with the Bristly crake
