David Foster
Seconded and her feet are made for breeding.
Tyler Cook
can we go one thread without degenerate waifu or fetish shit?
Ryan Rogers
What did he mean by this?
Zachary Hill
i do not desire this woman
Hudson Garcia
Roger A. Muirebe
Aiden Anderson
4 levels and 8 estus upgrades, thanks you cannot breed feet, try as you might
Anthony Thompson
your mother should be beaten to death with an oar
Owen Phillips
And this?
Juan Allen
Every time. My first build in every Souls game has been STR-heavy Captain Smashfucker.
Landon Morales
Is there anything useful or fun I can do with that single attunment slot you get from Knight without dumping more than ten or so levels into magic stats?
Juan Young
I did, the real question is, did you?
Again, you only need 11 Str to wield Corvian Scythe, since 11 * 1.5 = 16, and no retard wields a scythe one-handed. You could go a little bit higher for other weapons, but at the end of the day points spent into a bit of side utility beats having worthless Luck.
James Collins
Heal Aid, get that little bit of health back. You'll have the Faith for it by default, and the Shrine Handmaiden sells it.
Christian Bailey
>want to make melee SL 80 build >remember I'll have to farm another Heavy Crossbow to satisfy my aesthetics Not like I had anything better to do for an afternoon
Hudson Allen
Different user, but I'm pretty sure you need base 10 Faith to even wield a talisman/chime, not meeting the requirement means you get 40% less on your heal, which makes it not worth it.
Henry Green
this man understands
Eli Baker
That is true, but it's one point in Faith. Alternatively, Fire Surge.
Caleb Russell
Godamn it, watcher and guardian are being a pain >str build >doing good dmg >both attacking at once isn't enough enough to break my guard >however getting an opening is annoying because lowering my shield gets me combo'd to death
Xavier Moore
Kite them into single file, so that one is behind the other.
Nolan Green
because he she whatever the fuck it is isnt real
Connor Cox
shit wrong thread
Cooper Garcia
Will FROM yell at me if I spawn in spells and items for a pure caster build?
Joshua Taylor
Anything that's droppable should be safe. Spells though, that's grey territory.
Mason Wilson
someone in the last thread already told you this, and no they probably wont give a shit
Gabriel Price
What did they mean by this?
Jose Torres
Seprate them by attacking whoever attacks you and keep walking back. Sometimes you can bait throne watcher into backflipping on the cliff In DS2, especiallu sotfs, boss difficulty can vary based on your build >str build >kill veldstat without too much difficulty >magic build >gets raped by veldstat becuse of his long reach and small arena
Angel Moore
DSA bonfire and Grand Archives are different loading zones. But it's not like there are any enemies between the bonfires. I'm more bothered by the Dragon Barracks bonfire desu.
What they should've done is have a ladder drop down from the Sniper Crossbow tower and eliminate the Dragon Barracks bonfire altogether.
Jonathan Hughes
Does the PvE in 2 (sotfs) get any less gay as the game goes on? Currently at No Man's Wharf and getting mobbed by 10 guys from all sides over and over isn't even fun.
Levi Richardson
You're playing wrong if you are actually getting 10+ enemies at once, at most you should have 3 on you at once.
Colton Russell
Dear general.
After running around in coop for long at high wall, I killed the ice guy and went down. But I heard that next location contains some important npcs so I dont want to screw this, knowing from previous games that from likes to place triggers in their games in style "if you wont talk to this guy out there and carry that item that other guy out there will be gone forever". So, anything like that in next area? Somebody to absolutely talk to or dont to not miss content? I already lost this guy in firelink giving 5 orbs, I dont want to miss anything else.
Also, whats the most optimal SL for helping others and what are the best spots? Im SL 21 now and having 20k souls. Already bought key to firelink before, yes Im cooping that much.
Gavin Hughes
>trying to play dark souls 2 like it's dark souls 3 o i am laffin
Thomas Barnes
Maybe you could figure out that the arena is chock full of enemies since you can see that very early on, and proceed with caution, making sure you have space to fight them while kiting some more with a bow, throwing knives, bombs or something? Make your way through slowly, light the sconces, and watch your surroundings. You can't play DS2 like you play DaS and DS3. If you don't prepare for the next encounter, whether it's an ambush or something you can see, you're gonna get fucked.
Bentley Rodriguez
they kept a lamp a boss from BB but didn't realize bonfires aren't lamps.
Ethan Powell
Another year, another SL1. Only Midir left.
Didnt play for months and had much more problems with Nameless King, maybe I'm just getting old. I love DS3.
Gavin Martin
There's a solid reason why the bonfires are there, they're not for the fuck of it, but it's still bad design. Ds3 could do away with boss bonfires for the most part >What they should've done is have a ladder drop down from the Sniper Crossbow tower and eliminate the Dragon Barracks bonfire altogether. That doesn't make much sense. You're not skipping any enemies
Liam Brooks
Orb dude in Firelink will be back soon enough, once you get a certain item. There's a few of them scattered around, just read item descriptions. If you find an old guy in a cage, dressed like a crow, take his help. Same for a hunchback with a big rock on his back, he's right near the start before the gate. Also be sure to collect items as you see them. One other thing, look around for a huge, lumbering guy in red with a cage on his back that doesn't try to kill you immediately, he's near some small fellows with funny hats and blowguns. Get in the cage. Also, after finding a set of Ashes, buy the new key that turns up in the inventory, if you want Miracles.
Jackson Lee
The biggest bother are the mid-level bonfires that cut the levels down to bite-sized pieces imo.
Jeremiah Bell
Hey guys, I need help getting ds3 to run on a potato pc. I've been looking around for optimizations and I found this patch here. youtube.com/watch?v=ijGWDb-7KSY Anyone know if this is legit? Or any other performance boosts that you guys know of?
Caleb Green
I should clarify that I'm wavering above and below 30fps, and getting kicked out of multiplayer frequently. The game does run, however.
William Gomez
'member when beating dark souls felt like an accomplishment?
Owen Peterson
It's time to get a new PC.
Jace Kelly
>get any less gay No It'll be more enjoyable if you take your time kiting everything out, but more often than not you've just got to deal with it. Main reason 2 is considered the worst is the cheap mobbing
Kayden Butler
Why this boy wont just summon few phantoms?
Mason Murphy
>look around for a huge, lumbering guy in red with a cage on his back that doesn't try to kill you immediately, he's near some small fellows with funny hats and blowguns. Get in the cage. Not that user, my guy is hostile though and there's no prompt at all. What do? I wanted to meet Nana.
Ryder Barnes
Hey fellas,
What's the best Ds3 starting class for a 40/40 str/dex build? What gets me to that with the lowest points spent?
Justin Miller
If you had to climb over some rooftops with Thralls stationed on them, you should be in the right place. Did you attack the guy? Try reloading the area completely, that might work.
Charles Stewart
Didya beat up the big tree with horrible Acne?
Nathaniel Rogers
Not sure if you're agreeing with me or taking the piss out of me but Demon's Souls and Bloodborne really emphasized the attrition from the level :
You face attrition from the stage hazards and enemies on the way to a rather simple boss and that incentivizes really thinking out your moves and actions and health rationing because you also want to have resources for the boss.
This also means that the devs don't have to make all encounters super buttfuck hard, because every encounter matters in terms of reducing your available resources if you do badly and longer levels enhance the tension and allow invaders more more prep time and opportunities to lay ambushes for the host and the phantoms. There's much more to building an oppressive atmosphere and tension than just making thing "lol hard", but giving players too many safety nets definitely sucks out a lot of the tension.
John Reed
K***ht is the best starting class in the game.
Xavier Morris
Thanks. Also, is my sl okay for cooping? Or if I increase ut, I wont be summoned due to too high level? What are safe values anyway? I really dont like this tight sl range, cooping should be unrestricted. I want to help those scared new guys like me.
Nathaniel Hall
You should be okay for earlier levels, like Vordt and maybe Greatwood, but you can bump yourself to 25 or 30. Just be careful with Vordt, the host may want to go in a different direction.
Juan Howard
Yeah, it's after the drop off near the caged fellow talking about Nana. I may have originally attacked him when I first entered the area, but I'm already at the end of the game now. Not sure.
Yeah, Rotted Great/Cursed Wood I think it's called
Jace Wilson
Are you following the quest line for someone named Sirris? And were you ever invaded by a purple guy in the Settlement with a cone-like helmet?
Joshua Ward
I joined Rosaria's Finger at some point and then she scolded me and disappeared for some reason.
Jace White
funny that even with media that's as sensuous as a brillo pad, some still have a propensity towards reimagining characters as generic moeblob garbage. they then try to convince themselves it actually IS the character and not a poorly drawn, traced anime hamhocks masquerading as dark souls fanart.
or perhaps they're so in dire need of nutting, they don't care what to so long as it's relevant to their current interest. they believe masturbating to dark souls makes them unique.
hang yourself.
Juan Ramirez
How do I beat Midir solo with a melee build? it's ridiculous. might honestly be the worst boss i've played in the series
Jeremiah Davis
Yeah, she's gone. Doesn't come back, since you joined her rival covenant. Say goodbye to Grandpa Hodrick and his stuff. On NG+ or your next character, track down that guy with the cage, the manservant, and do not make him hostile. Jump into the cage for a special visit to Grandpa's house. It's worth it to stick with Sirris' quest since you actually get a good amount of stuff from it, like the Silvercat Ring and treasures from an old DaS2 friend. Just switch to the Fingers once she's completely done with her questline if you want Leonhard's stuff.
Mason Hill
The ironic thing now is, veterans of the series have since found numerous ways to cheese through DaS1, which is perhaps tied with DaS2 for easiest in the series.
Kevin Ross
Attack him while he's recovering from attacks, and dodge when he tries to attack you.
Sebastian Roberts
Hit the head and dodge alot lmao
Lucas Anderson
A connection error has occured Unable to summon phantom I enjoy the activity in 3 but I seriously believe online interactions being few and far between works great with the theme of the game Have you killed the Greatwood? Can't join that way if you have even triggered the 2nd phase. You need to kill Aldritch and be summoned by Sirris first >I was talking to gallowsfag absolutelydisgusting.jpg
Eli Miller
attack its weak point for massive damage
Angel Martin
Too bad Bloodborne was extremely easy.
Joshua Bell
Funny how the great club makes a clanking sound when you jump attack off ledges
Angel Hill
Quests are easily the part I hate the most about this series, so convoluted with so many ways to get locked out and no indicators (that I've personally found) to know when it occurs. Is that Cheat Sheet/Checklist in the OP actually accurate in terms of questlines? Playing blind was fun, but I've only managed to do 3 quest lines so far.
Andrew Parker
...
Dominic Bennett
Let me guess, Orbeck also got mad at you and ran away?
David Phillips
Who's Orbeck?
Jaxson Sanders
sorcery merchant
Thomas Baker
Dude with long hair who sells sorceries right before Crystal Sage. He calls it quits if you kill four bosses after recruiting him without bringing him a Scroll.
Ethan Brooks
Haven't met any of those yet, to be honest. I'm not compatible with these quest types at all, apparently.
Samuel Miller
Sorcery is useless is in the game anyway, if you meet him, kill him, doesnt matter.
William Mitchell
Anyone in the 70/+8 range want to duel somewhere? I'm burnt out on invasions right now. PS4.
David Lee
>killing Orbeck Fuck off Yuria.
Landon Moore
I'll go see if he's still there then, might as well have a gander.
Zachary Bell
Just be sure you have 10 Int, he'll laugh at you otherwise. Or wear the Scholar's ring, either way.
Carson Hernandez
I've easily got the stats, but Pyromancy is way cooler so I ignored spells.
Hunter Robinson
Good choice, Pyro is much more fun
Grayson Turner
You can actually finish the whole game + first dlc (didnt try the second one) with pure pyromancy. Gets pretty easy later on if you know what spells are good.
Evan Roberts
What's the first thing you do when you reach firelink shrine?
Anthony Wilson
tree jump for dat estus shard
Lucas Brown
buy a dagger
Brayden Perez
>holding a flail PUT FLAILS IN THE GAMES GOD DAMMIT
AND NO MUH FLAYUL DOESN'T COUNT
Juan Jackson
quit the game
Joshua Ortiz
Head down to new londo ruins and kill Ingward
Gavin Phillips
Kill the Weeblord. I'm not about to let some weeaboo fuck sit outside Firelink Shrine and jack off to his fucking Japanese porn comics while I'm out doing whatever.
Nicholas Martin
>summon Ornstein cosplayer for help with Midir >dies in under a minute >summon a different person >they're also wearing full dragonslayer armor >dies on Midir's first attack YOU"RE UNWORTHY OF THE ARMOR!
Brody Long
>dragonslayer armour leggings nice
Gavin Hill
Pyromancy seems OP from what I've seen, only thing that out damages it so far is a Riposte/Backstab from a +10 2Handed big sword. Which is far less common than a fireball to their face.
Also, this question is coming out of nowhere, but is 3 supposed to have the blood drenching like BB? Going by some of the earlier pictures in the thread it seems so, but mine seems to just be brown.
>Bloodborne was extremely easy All Souls games are easy by that logic so what's your point?
I don't really get why the whole hanging thing is so revolting to people in this general considering how dark and bleak these games are and Undead Settlement is full of hanged corpses. I understand that very few people want to read paragraphs of someone writing with a hand on their dick on how much they want to see a game character choke on the noose until warm piss starts trickling from between their legs but the mere implication of being turned on by hanging is so controversial. I do sympathize with people who don't like it, I mean I wouldn't want to have a diaperfag come into the general and talk at length how they want to see Priscilla do big poopies in her diapeys but y'know, these games have a lot of dark shit, torture and gore as a part of the game.
Juan Roberts
Yeah, your character just puts on blackface after you whack enemies enough times. Looks awful.
Jose Campbell
>DaS Grab manatees and homeward bones, also shrug from petrus, then suicide run to New Londo fire keeper soul >DS3 Tree jump and then mass level up with souls from lizard gundyr swordmaster and gift 2k souls
Yeah, it's just a shitty texture but you can at least mod it. Still looks less like blood and more like red paint sprayed on, but it's better than black paint. Kill yourself post haste
