It's fine. From the way he types, it's the sperg who shits up /roommates/ on occasion. We've had way more tangential stuff done here before and some of the best things to come out of this place are barely related to the franchise at all at this point.

It reads a lot smoother now. The only complaint I have now would be using observed twice so close together as well as haze and haziness. Maybe using different words could help there like "in a fugue state I watched Iris approach her." then change "observed with my own eyes" to "seen with my own eyes"

i would imagine getting spooked by lolbit would involve you having to plug into a vr world (that was being tested by Afton Robotics so they could find out how VR works) called "PURE IMAGINATION" that you can't take off until she lets you

I really wasn't too bothered by Springtrap talking, to be honest. His model in the new game looks like shit though.

Not me, at least not that specific but I was a STRONG believer the Nightmares weren’t dreams and posted hypotheticals about that a lot and I think I remember the posts you were talking about. I guess with the implication that FNAF4 was an experiment William S Afton was using on his lobotomized son, that theory is now kind of canon. Should make me happy but the execution is so hamfisted it still just doesn’t feel right. I used to strongly insist that the first three and 4-SL should be their own continuities with some casual coincidental overlaps.

After replaying the titles I don’t know any more. 4 is a major black sheep. I like it, but SL and PS are meant to be sister titles to each other and the first three fit together perfect. 4 could fall into either universe but doesn’t meld in a way that feels comfortable with either. It’s sad as I adore the ‘comfortable home but with technoporn knife machine’ aesthetics. The sheer contrast in environment versus the monsters was very well executed.

And a better reason for William to destroy them than “I’m so evil Imma kill em TWICE” that 6 does.

I’m iffy on SL and 6. 6 seems to have been made after a bunch of rewrites and cuts, which is why Henry, Charlie, Remnant, etc. aren’t alluded to at all in Sister Location. I would argue that 4 and SL are better fitting “sister games”, if only because SL doesnt contradict 4 too much, and gives a decent explanation for things like the girl’s room or the brothers’ family situation, if neither of them had very much to do with each other.
I agree that 4 is a black sheep, though. It only seems to exist to provide an explanation for Golden Freddy and his behavior that may or may not have been paved over with the introduction of Henry. And depending on your view, to incite that “all a dream” pandemonium.

Springroll's interpretation is portrayed with guilt, fear, and even love.
Rugrats' has hints of it as his spiral into the inhuman monster he is now started with remorse and depression before turning into all consuming rage, hate and hunger. Unrelated but I'm now reminded of Alex Mercer when it comes to Skinman.
