generally, you want to know specific combos for specific situations because you're never going to be able to do your most damaging combo in every situation. You want to do the most damaging combo possible you can for each situation, like off of a low or overhead or a meaty situation.

It was what actually revived my love of fighting games for a bit and I followed the development very closely. My first kickstarter backing ever too.
Then I came back into it and... eh. Really hated being combo masturbated to and the answers I got online was that "it's actually optimal to reset" as if that was somehow getting hit for a minute straight was fun if it meant that the beatings got broken into bite sizes.
