Not having to buy them yourself, and since you'll be needing a lot, it's a long term investment the ~500k I invested into gold/silver plates and diamonds has already paid itself off multiple times, heck the current supply of golden plates will net me 750k minimum

But with the history of how they fuck their players over. I expect I would pay all that gold and 5 months from now completely change the system so gems and plates are not even used anymore.

in ~6 months one new tier of gear will be added above stormcry, upgrade only, no enchanting if anything, plates/diamonds will be in even greater demand
