There's also a tryhard scene on ch besides the erp and it still has some players.
CH is less populated than TR and MT but it's not completel dead like AV.

They do everything from low end to top tier dungeons, most are casual and do mid/high tier content. The members with the best gear don't really play at the same time, so it's hard to form a party sometimes, but there are definitely people who will agree to do high tier content.

Patch notes on the official site. And just vendor all that stuff, gives back all the gold that was spent on them so now you can use it to get battle solutions.

To sum it up, the all types of scrolls/charms/nostrums were condensed into an item called prime battle solution (or everful nostrum for elites). Prime battle solutions are cheap af on the broker, don't buy them from merchants. They're pretty much 100% necessary wherever you are.
Sadly campfires are not usable anymore, not even as a cosmetic.
Pots exist still but in the form they used to, they can't be made with alchemy.
Some types of potions are gone, like the Heart potion (increases the amount of heals you receive), Eclipse potion (less aggro drawn to make it easier for newbie tanks) etc. which was a real shame.
Gearing system has been changed too, but for that you can find a guide on essential mana.

You get starter gear for completing some easy quests at 65, or you can just get the gear through the vanguard merchant

If you liked the game 3 years ago, then you should still like it now, considering a lot has changed for the better, including new gearing and enchanting system
PVP is still an unbalanced, cancerous mess with a single class being able to pull, stun and then delete entire groups of people with 1-2 hits

I don't, It wasn't even that hard to get my character to a half decent state as a solo player, though I never did high level dungeons because I didn't want to socialise and had lag problems.
