You should arrange them so that they have overlapping fields of fire. Also spaced out so they don't explode each other.

Exactly how far away you want your engagement line to be is up to you, but if it's too far they could overwhelm the turrets before you can support.

Prepare Carefully is the better way to play the game. You can have colonists with more personality and value. Makes for a more fun game.

Every guy that has access to the workshop here loves Tynan so much they don't share anything without asking you to buy his game. I have honestly never seen anyone get helped in this general, and I have been here since 9/11
