I just had a game where i couldn't penetrate the front of a Hetzer (without any other angling, mind you) TWICE. With a Tiger 2 (H).

Why does the cooldown for spotting targets have to be so long? I get that the cooldown for "missing" needs to be long to prevent abuse by spamming it but when you successfully spot a target there should be next to no cooldown. Or am I not thinking of some other way it could be abused?
or maybe it is just because german players would flip their shit if their whole team was spotted from their camping spots within 10 seconds

Flanking in War Thunder is just a meme now. The vast majority of the time you wont be able to do it on the large scale and you will essentially never be able to do it on the small scale.

Getting to that hill on the edge of the map doesn't mean shit when you get tagged once by a plane or MGs and are lit up like a Christmas tree on the map. Or those ULQ users that can see you all the way across the map.

Rushing to the side of a tank after you destroy it's breach is also opening your ass up to dicks from 4 fronts.

These maps arn't made for active and reactive flanking. I mean fuck they hardly work for passive flanking.

Finnland is the best map in game, this is why it's no longer in rotation. It was too good

Well the few DDs we have now have been more fun than wows. So unless they fuck it up somehow or WG fixes their shit, WT will have better naval combat.

17lber stock shell is so unbearably bad, T-34's are more or less invulnerable from the front unless you hit the turret ring. I feel like in real life just the kinetic energy of that hitting the UFP would rip it off since it's shitty slav steel.
