another thing which bothers me is the lack of areas you can navigate in 3D, I didn't mind the 3D navigation in DR1 at all
the only areas which have 3D navigation are (from the top of my head)

>old building
>chandler beach
>hospital
>the fucking funhouse
>corrupted version of HPA
and the only one you spend any time in is the funhouse
