How do I get them to fight each other?

They look like they're hitting one another, but they miss and sometimes aggro themselves towards me.

They won't keep fighting forever, if you want them off your back bring a ghillie mantle. Just make sure both of them are close enough so that their bombs hit each other, those do a shit ton of damage.

I tried using one on a jyrotodus, and it took a while to kill the thing (a full 16 minutes), but I looked cool the entire time, and I wasn't hit at all because I was flying around like a crazy person instead of being on the ground.

FYI you should only be in the air as IG if you're dodging or the monster has been mounted less than twice. Otherwise you're flying around like a retard doing sub par DPS.

There's an arena quest for every monster for LR and HR so yes, you need to catch every monster twice.

That's what I did, it's worth it. Having to go back and do them later to unlock quest chains/food is fucking awful.

I regret not doing that for a multitude of reasons so go ahead and do them right away.

hey /mhg/ just looking for some opinions i think im noob and not understanding some stuff correctly but this is what i got so far for a beginner HR set

>poison attack 2 (charm almost at 3 or is this a meme stat/wep choice?)

>focus 1
>speed sharp 1
>jump master 1

>rath mastery 2 and 4 (crit element and mind eye ballistics)

im a LS user and dont find trouble with fights unless i get caught in a combo or get memed with positioning. are these good skills? or should i look for something else?

i have a few decoration slots in the armor im looking at so i will be able to cap out most of the skills yeah?

You can probably drop the poison stuff for more damage or some other utility (earplugs etc.).
