Denying the enemy team their use was fantastic. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped a Tracer or Genji from benefiting from them.

Hacking doesn't seem any faster, health packs charge me about 12% of the ult for ~150 healing and Mei's icicle still consumes 25 ammo.

It's because they generally don't understand it and play it like it's CS:GO, and now with mercy unable to rez people instantly, poor positioning is punished way harsher. They're not team playing and being retarded, they don't realize one person can carry a team as often as it happens in CS:GO.

In CS:GO a good player in his rank can carry 6/10 games in a row, but in this game you'd be lucky if it was 2/10
