if say make it a Halofest event but MCC CE is really bad with close range combat. It's the reason so many people have reccomended snipers for the CE slayer match

it has the second weakest maps in the series after 5, although 3 is still a notable downgrade from 2. CE kind of works even if the maps are not the most cleverly designed. Halo 4 has gpic maps but the infinity slayer gametype makes that moot point

I don't mind the CE map roster but some of them are just a bit too niche, which really wasn't a problem again until Halo 5. Timberland is still my fave tho.
You can't disagree on facts, CE's maps are gargantuan in comparison to the other games' maps.

nah. 5's are built for specific 4v4 sweaty arena and translate to nothing else well. Likewise, big team is just terrible entirely. Reach's lacked the creativity of the old Hoberman days for sure and I'd even say structurally are worse than CE and 4, but at least you can have fun with them with different lobby sizes.
