It's even worse that these people don't have to play more than a dozen games, not like they have to do some crazy grind every season to get Diamond-Master.

It'd be better off you got a base reward for your final rank, then your games played was like a multiplier of that

Gold is useless in this game, unless you just started playing, but then you're already getting a shitload of it from leveling heroes and heroes themselves from all the free boxes.

It's actually about 750-800 in 1 hour

The value is that your games become less of a clown fiesta the higher you climb, as your team unfucks their shit and you get better. I don't think Dota 2 players even get a reward for their rank (maybe now they do?), it's all about e-peen and having fun playing the game at an actually high level.

What can be done to fix the quality of Quick Match games?

Merge it with unranked and make it identical to all pick in Dota 2 (you can still draft for synergy and counters, but you can still instalock your assassins).

You know the Brawl thing where it lets you pick from one of three Heroes? That or bring back mirror matches. It might seem like a meme but the game is legit too complex and has too few players to consistently have ""balanced"" compositions, especially if taking into account that it might be a guys second game on Ana.

It'd just be nice if the level 150 "smurfs" couldn't shit up Diamond+ games. Like, I can understand Master+ not wanting to climb through Gold, Platinum and Diamond literally ever again but do new accounts really have to place so high? Especially if it's based on QM mmr which doesn't involve drafting?

At least have MMR seed from Unranked Draft or something, even if that can be exploited via premades.

Nothing, and you can't remove it because there are a ton of people that don't want to play the game they just want to play a certain hero. Those people don't wake up and say "Oh I can't wait to play hots today" no they wake up and say "I can't wait play maiev today" you take away their ability to guarantee that they'll get to play that certain hero and you'll lose them as players.

Blizzard really fucked up with Garrosh's representation in Heroes of the Storm. His abilities and role do not fit his character fantasy in any way. His kit should have been for another character.

Yes, he is fun to play. But he should have been a bruiser, like Artanis, but with burst and less focus on defense and with an ability to force 1v1.

NOT TO MENTION they have "battleground overviews" on the official hots youtube channel.
More advanced stuff such as lane rotations merc timings etc you learn by playing ud tl or hl.
But theres really no excuse for anyone not to grasp the basics of all the maps
