Alliance questing in WoD SMV has you working with a group of Orcs from the Shadowmoon Clan who were led by Ner'zhul's mate, Rulkan. They're technically their own faction but you cannot earn rep with them. It led to a bunch of speculation about Alliance Orcs but it never went anywhere. When Allied Races came out they were brought back up as a possible Allied Race.

Did you not pay attention to all the goblins in the Iron Docks and HFC, by the way? And how the SoO, they pioneered all that technology the Iron Horde used, INCLUDING the Iron Stars? All they needed was someone with the knowledge to lead and some goblins to tell them what resources to extract and how.
