Chad Royhardt has huge atk, so he's really good with a BB+ build. A budget Lyn for AA, or for quests like this where you can't bring dancers to have Lyn kill two things in a player phase.

These new maps are all open enough that the enemy units will go around and attack your support units.

camillas map gives more SP i think and also there is a choke point you can easily abuse whereas you have to keep moving around in the training maps which is pretty annoying.

Yeah, without atk or speed boons LAlina just seems worse than Cecilia, and Gronnblade doesn't seem like it'll salvage her.
