I think it's a step in the right direction, even if you've leveled a hundred times imagine being a new player doing a dungeon when everything died in seconds to some dudes in full heirlooms. They just needed to go a step further to make the abilites actually do damage then maybe buff the xp or rewards from them to compensate

no, Humans have the worst aesthetic, you'd have to try hard to be more generic and uninteresting.

I also play the races I like, and I have a half dozen 110 ally alts, but the horde as a whole just has so much more character than the alliance, internal differences and rivalries, conflicts even, where the alliance is like several coast of paint on the same damned thing, Only nelfs stand out at all. They managed to make literal aliens from another planet who bash things with crystals and have lasers and spaceships and shit blend right in and disappear by having them align perfectly with the rest of the alliance and thus fade into obscurity behind the core races. Like the Horde has multiple VERY distinct aesthetics AND Alignments, and hell with nightborne we just got yet another radically difference one. Orcs are True Neutral and covered in spikes, Trolls are Chaotic neutral and all about grass huts and bone fetishes, Tauren are Chaotic Good and Live in Teepees on the plains while wearing basically nothing but feathers and skins. Belfs are Somewhere between True Neutral and Lawful Evil and are all about glamor, flash and displays of power. Undead are Neutral Evil and Have veered hard into mad science aesthetic. All these things, in the same faction coexisting. Its great IMO, creates a tension and a vehicle for both storytelling/RP and creativity in design thats just not possible with the allaince because they're all the same.

You might not like the Hordes aesthetics, but some of us do. I even kinda liked Frozen Ditchistan, at least it knew what it was, Lunarfall couldn't decide if it was Human town, Night elf grove or Dreanor, White stone, blue roof tiles and brown wood in a zone where the rocks are all black, the trees are purple and the sky is always night, it just looked totally out place.
