Mine didn't have it for awhile and it kept cucking me on teams from reaching level 5 AH with him as a sub. 100% worth putting auto heal on em now.

he's not JUST a sub but his fragile 3x isn't exactly powerful or comfy in this day and age. double WB+ can still do very well and WB+ / BB can do even better, though more so in raids than colos. having 2 30% health cuts effectively halves enemy HP and puts them easily in range of his multiplier. having lvl. 4+ autoheal is a problem for whitebeard teams if you need him to be in rage mode before the boss

WB is a godlike sub for akainu, lucci, hody and neko among others, and all of them want maxed out autoheal.

There's no universal zombie team for forests. Each forest has different units and mechanics and you need to build accordingly. I suggest watching some youtube videos or read the Storm Pirates guides.
