But spell level uses the level of the highest element available of the type used.

Like air surge, despite being level 81, caps to level 95 damage and accuracy if you have level 95 or higher magic.
But t90 weapons cap that down to t90 dmg/acc.
Where any wave at such a level would have fire wave's t75 stats, and cap dmg/acc down to t75 even when using t90 weapons.
