it's a skinner box. it's fun about 60% of the time if you're in the top 1% of players, which isn't actually hard to do if you make a genuine effort to be good. the game has a high random element that caps the effect of skill. in order to progress at a satisfying rate you need to spend at least $50 on a premium tank. spending more than $100 has poor return. if you don't care about getting the top tier tanks, you don't have to spend money and will still have fun and can still be competitive, you just won't be part of a good clan anytime soon or anything.

The people that want easy credits and easy training crews?
Increase those by 10% on prem tier viii and done.

in general my stance is that it's laughable that premiums are untouchable, unnerfable, because it's all relative. Best observed in case of pref mm premiums, which have become various degrees of decent to bad from what they were, even though their stats did not change.

All tier X LTs are reverse-padding material to be honest - and the Rheinmetall appears to be the worst of the bunch. But they're properly fast, so it might be worth getting one as a toy to screw around in as opposed to an actual tank to be played seriously.
