I didn't really plan for it but puncture and slash in theory makes it decent against pretty much everything. I just thought I could get pretty good status to make use of the innate viral and maybe condition overload without killing too much speed or damage.

Not really min-maxing, I had the plague head leftover from the event so I wanted to try doing something with it. I hardly ever use melee so if it turns out to be decently strong that would be really great.
