CoP is the most polished game in the series vanilla is fine.

CoP is fine without mods. Be ready for an amazing english dub.

CoP's pretty stable out of the box, you could get some graphics stuff (Absolute Nature and Structures, AtmosFear) and you should probably download an FoV switcher since the default is like 55, but other than that you're good.

There's this wind effect that spawns around you frequently, even in buildings sometimes, with some leaves and audio. I want to turn it off but I'm not sure where to look for it.

I brought a grenade launcher and camped a high spot and did it with 0 deaths

After that, travelling to bar and back it was finally time to fuck over the C-Cucks
I didn't know what was coming and thought I would be prepared for everything but they instantly spawn and attack, I was cornered behind the upper biological shield/reactor lid.
What made it worse is that they come from both sides, are not easy to spot and that they can get off a quick peeking headshot, which resulst in instant death against Exo with most weapons. I died 3 times before not even trying to headshot anymore and just spraying their upper body but even with 7.62 Nato they take like 4 hits before even thinking about dying for some reason...
