This wont affect the ending right? This did not make sense to me I chose mythra cause I was assuming she was referring to herself when she said you can use whatever name you wanted so I chose mythra for mythra's character since it made sense and it was her that was talking to me.

Find big monsters and use your chain attack right before they die. Overkill acts as a multiplier for Exp and WP.

You get bonus EXP from completing sidequests/merc missions or even just exploring and finding new locations. Basically any EXP you get outside of battle accumulates there to be used whenever you need it.

If you're talking about postgame grinding, those Dinosaurs you find in Gormott are pretty easy and you overkill them. Should net you a few levels per kill.
