No. Play something else. This game will only bring you disappointment. The only good thing about it is immersive shit like decorating your own house and sitting on chairs. After you get past that there's nothing else to the game because everything you do forces you towards a shitty PVP endgame that no one likes to do.

I'm just looking for different games right now. I played BDO a little bit about half a year ago and real life happened pretty hard, but I remember kind of liking how comfy gathering and lifeskill things were. Never really got into Trading, though. Real life happened pretty hard again and I need something simple and relaxing that I can lose myself in for a few hours a week that isn't drugs or alcohol. Thank you for your honest response. I'll keep looking.

I think Lifeskilling and grinding is pretty comfy in BDO if you can ignore the cash shop. The people are pretty nice too and make you feel better about your life.

Lifeskill grinding is still only grinding towards the PVP endgame. What else is it for?

Take the advice of someone who's played it for 2 years. There's no point to grinding anything RNG related in this game because the endgame goal is not worth the time investment.

The problem is that the endgame PVP is so fucking BUSTED right now with laggy servers, horribly imbalanced classes and a severe gear gap. You will never catch up to the people who have been playing 1 or 2 years. The gear and stats matter in this game.

Sorry for the rant but if you still want to be comfy in BDO then I highly suggest you take it easy knowing that whatever goal or progression you make will be pointless (being honest here). Either have fun doing stupid shit with friends, ERP with degenerates or shitpost the general with screenshots. Just don't take the game too seriously because it'll never take the playerbase seriously in return.
