>What is Kingdom Come Deliverance?
Kingdom Come Deliverance is an open world RPG set in the Bohemian countryside of the Holy Roman Empire in the very early 15th century. You play as Henry, son of a blacksmith, voiced by and modeled from an inbred looking Englishman. The game was kickstarter funded to the tune of around 5 million USD. The map is 16km sq. From the homepage:
>The death of its beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, has plunged the kingdom into dark times
>One of Charles' sons, Wenceslas, has inherited the crown.
>His half-brother and King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox, senses weakness in Wenceslas.
>Sigismund travels to Bohemia and kidnaps his half-brother. With no king on the throne, Sigismund is now free to plunder Bohemia and seize its riches.
>You end up in the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who is forming a resistance against the invasion.

2nd for poor chivalrous knight

where is the pen0r

you just don't get em like this in the new world

*blocks ur path*

This is a very good game

>random NPCs react to conversations around them, including who happens to be talking at the time

bethesda are you taking notes

Henry became quite a proficient inquisitor on his quest to find Runt and his crew.
This particular interrogation technique is called "The Frenchman" or "A Finns Worst Nightmare."

Guys, the game want me to go to the training area and talk to the captain but i can't see him?

How to cap frames at 60

did you go there right after breakfast?

Wait for an hour, he should be right next to the fence

Ah okay i have to go to sleep and wait.
Any advice for lock picking? this lock picking system is the worst system i have ever seen in video games, jesus christ.

I'm just fucking around in the starting town learning the basic mechanics. Is playing a rogue viable in this or are you forced to be a knight and engage in combat all the time? I want to be a backstabbing thieving shitcunt Robin Hood, not trudge around in a tin can suit.

nah, skyrim is far more boring
in this you just have to get a feel for the movement which comes with practice

It becomes very easy with practice

How do you do those unblockable combos after perfect blocks that the wayfaring knight completely fucks my shit up with.

When and where is the earliest you can get a bludgeoning weapon? I want to do a nonlethal playthrough.

You'll get raped if you don't get any armor. Stealth is pretty finicky in this, and bows are hard as shit to use at range.

You can be a full-mail cunt who ignores damage while pelting people in the face with arrows though. And you can be a bandit cunt all day while stealing from everyone you meet.

This general needs an FAQ.

Post Henrys.

When you go to the Sasau monastery help Philip ASAP. Fucker died right when I figured out what I needed to help him

Just become the master of punching. I feel like you could still kill people with bludgeons if you cause bleeding or something.

Getting 25 fps in rattay on very high with a 1080 gtx and i5 6600k is this normal

no
try turning lighting and shadows down to High
and postprocessing after that
I get 40-50 fps with similar specs

when you get the quest to steal the ring, take all those lockpicks to the target's house and drink a savior's schnapps, practice until you can do it to all 5 locked objects there.

Its a lot less rarer, let me tell you that, its exceptionally easy

you can rogue it up to an extent. I mostly wear light grungy clothes to keep my noise on visibility down and lockpick everything to sell to the millers. I've looted some great bows and have tried being an archer as much as possible.
That said, you WILL have points that you cant 100% stealth kill and have 2/3v1 fights that basically require you to pull the sword out.

Is it even possible to kill that soldier chasing you at the start?

Shit, if Fisting is truly viable at a certain point then I'll totally go for it

What is the recipe for Saviour Schnapps?

I remember getting a mace in Talmberg before heading back to bury my parents. Believe I had to lockpick a chest for it though.

No change, what specs do you have

There is one in Deucsh house.

I could write one for the early part of the game and pastebin it - but theres still some mechanics I need figured out and every time I ask if people have experienced them I get ignored. Mostly shit involving the reputation system, it's really unintuitive.

Theoretically, yes. In practice, it takes hours because you die in like 2 hits.

Fisting honestly seems totally unviable, it doesn't even have any perks. It's a shame, my dick gets hard at full on monk builds. Maybe if you pumped str to max from flower farming you could go full fists for a while.

Bernard has to train you to do it. Even then, it's percent chance based on your defense skill.

It's fucking retarded that ripostes are unblockable desu.

1080 GTX
i7 4790k
16gb
ssd

How much ram and hdd or ssd? I have a 1060 with the same processor and get 50-60 on very high with shadows and post processing on medium

thistle and belladonna I think? Something with a B you can only buy and no one has found in the wild yet.

How do I synch my saves with steam so I don't have to transfer them via USB when I want to play on my laptop?

...

Must be the difference in threads

16gb and ssd. Do you get a constant 50 frames?

Fisting is not viable, realism kicks in hard.

I got my milanese plate gauntlets off an absolute madman of a bandit leader who tried to box me with them. I just swung onto his head twice and killed him through his heavy armor.

Which mace should i get, or what weapon for a full plate tank build

MFW playing with R9 390 + Ryzen 7 1800x and get about 50 fps on high, and released drivers for especially Kcd and Pubg yesterday.

What is the deal with quest awakening?
I killed the knights and then killed and looted the two civillians. I still hear bitch screaming for help and I can't find her anywhere

Two handed warhammer

Show them you are king

Forgot my face

Heh, i beat the cocky son of the bitch while drunk.

there are occasional dips to the mid 40s, but they aren't common - it normally hovers in the upper 50s (58-60) with occasional drops to 53 or so.

>steal armor and talk to stefanie right in front of her husband
>"I'm sorry, do I know you?"
>Oh, that's smart, she's pretending she doesn't recognize him to not blow his cover
>"IT'S ME, HENRY"

wait you can get a 2h warhammer in this? fucking where?

I found mine personally in Sassau, which is a city located south western side of the map.

I talked to the local Weaponsmith and there is a dude there, dont know if you can find it at the start of the game but you can try.

I think im gonna start working on a pastebin FAQ. What are some things you wish you knew when you started playing?

Anyone else normally fast travel in games but like just walking/hoofing it in this?

nettle* and belladonna
you find the recipe beside the crafting bemch
yes, the blob of playdoh is killable, but even if you kill the second tutorial boss after it the chosen undead still gets taken to the nexus.
But I was referring to seath the scaleless dragon, a monster so far out of your league you literally cannot kill him on your first encounter (thanks to crystal soul magic).
so if you thought being unable to kill Runt in your first encounter with him is bullshit railroading that makes you uninstall the game then I can earnestly understand why you also didn't finish dark souls because Seath instakills you when you step into the arena and encounter him for the first time.

opposite for me

Holy shit this would be hard to pull off

Fuck what do I do when an enemy ripostes me constantly, any time I swing he fucking perfect blocks into a swing I can try feinting switching it up everything.

The fucking bandit that took my sword was doing similar stuff, I had to beat him by pulling out a bow and just one shotting him.

At the starting town? Then I'm screwed unless I can find the chest this user was talking about: I think I'll just give the game a break until more info on it is put online.

Not that bad once you know which food to get that lasts, like dried mushrooms. Plus bandits and shit always have food on them, so you can top off. Should always eat before going to bed too.

>you find the recipe beside the crafting bemch
You know there is more than one, right?

>500K units sold
wew looks like we're getting the Hussite Wars

Having to constantly monitor the food and eat before Henry actually says "I'm Hungry" would be a fucking nightmare

How much I can let the mainquest wait and just fuck around with sidequests without failing the main one.

I still just plow trough the main quest, even tho I just want to go hunt some cumans in the woods.

Runt is a cunt. I died twice in two 5 minute fights before I just went berserker on his ass right when the fight started. He isn't wearing a helmet, so always go for the head. In general, that's the strategy; look for the least armored spot and hack away.

Fights can be irritating sometimes, especially when they keep counterattacking, but that's mostly because their skill is better than yours, I think. Wear them down. Try to get them to bleed and/or wait for them to strike before going in, because they're slower when they're low on stamina. If you can do a perfect parry, it can sometimes open them up for an instant poke. I tend to use fast attacks on people that cause trouble, because the slow attacks tend to cause problems.

Been awhile since I did it, but I went into the tower that houses guards and cracked some of the chests in there. Pretty sure I had it before I went in the garrison and got the quest-armor that you need to leave, so I don't think it's in that one.

why isn't there inventory hotkeys

Is there even any point in fighting runt? I thought he was unbeatable?

You always see your food when you travel, and you should be looking every once in awhile anyway. It's really not that big a deal once you play the game for long enough. I unconsciously do it now.

I don't even know at what level of nourishment he starts saying he is hungry or at what level he is too full

more than one bench? Sure.
I've only been to one (behind the apothecary in rattay) but i assumed the recipebook to your right. of the bench was a reference guide to all the recipes you learned , in Which savior schnapps is the first.

When you first meet him at the beginning, yes, he is invulnerable and can't be killed. You do fight him later in the game though, and he can definitely be killed.

Is there a town bigger than rattay/another town with armorsmith?

hes talking about the second encounter where you take back your father's sword

50%.

>10 mins just to change graphic setting at the main menu
N-Nice game.

honestly a well polished sequel could be a GOTY

I got to him with with 10% hp and bleeding, but managed to kill him in a supposed double hit where we both went for stab and I just stabbed his head and just before his hit landed cutsceme saved me

He actually doesn't have it in that fight. Someone else still has it.

WHY DOES HENRYS SHADOW NOT SHOW HEADGEAR IT BOTHERS THE FUCK OUT OF ME.

Think it's just Rattay and Sassau

do you think I could find him and kill him before the runt encounter?

you don't get the sword tho

so I've heard.

He's part of the main quest, so I don't think so. Even then, you don't even meet him out in the open during the second encounter. He is scripted to only appear as the final fight.

wtf was the point

Is it worth clearing up space on my SSD for this game or should I just stick it on my HDD?

you generally only load every now and again
question is whether or not HDD users get any performance drops as a result of texture streaming

They look like Russians.

all the southeasterners had turkic meddling going on

Reinstalled drivers, lowered lod a bit and set shadows to medium and applied fix from op. Seems to work alright now

In what way is it better to be a virgin in this game? Not sure if I should reload the mysterious ways quest or not because of that night out.

>"A Finns Worst Nightmare."

> name my band

Reminder you only save when sleeping on owned/rented beds. Stealing a nap won't save the game.

What stat should I pick at the start?

You can finnish the quest without the priest

2 different ones. Speech and vitality was comfy.
