One little thing gone wrong doesn't change the fact that freeshop is a lot more convenient than manually hunting down files, copying them over and installing them myself.

I bought this flashcart to play DS games on my 3ds. It works perfectly fine on my o3DS XL but for some reason it's not working all on my n3DS XL. On the latter it just shows a black screen when I select to use it and nothing happens. Is this suppose to happen? Are there other flashcarts that are known to work for n3DS XL's?

I rarely play online but I have never been banned by using this method:

First have both an online account solely for playing online games and an offline account for launching homebrew. Install PSNPatch and Multiman (or Webman, etc), NEVER use the online account to launch anything homebrew, even when offline, never use the online account to even play offline games. So to play online games first stay offline and log into your offline account, mount the game with Multiman (don't play PKG games online), after the game is mounted on XMB launch PSNPatch and once inside press triangle (do not press X unless you have already learned spoofing and have a ID for it), after it closes and goes back to XMB log out of your offline account and log into your online account, sign into PSN, launch mounted game on XMB, play online relatively safely. You're not going to get caught as long as you always use this method and don't do stupid shit like hacking or modding. Also don't play any DLC's that had to be installed using a RAP, "4.21+ Fix" and other PKG's are fine as long as you don't have to activate them with RAPs. But to be as safe as possible don't even download DLC for online games unless it's a GOTY disc version or you legit bought the DLC.

Why is installing dlc cias like RNG? Sometimes it works but I can't get dlc for EOV working. Just is not recognized. I tried both bbm and fbi.

I'm so pissed off at myself. I did it totally wrong, by attaching the hinge before feeding the cable through. There's too much conflicting documentation/videos. People just roll it up and jam it through. Nobody has documented anything properly, so I had to do a lot of guesswork, including how to attach the 3D and volume slider.

No documentation at all, apart from the teardown, and people on youtube doing it at hyper speed so it's impossible to follow so you pay them to do it for you. Fucking bullshit. Every other console I have modded like this had explicit guides to follow. But times change, and people capitalise everything.

I'm going to buy a new screen and try again. Feeding the cables through the ring is the hardest part, and if I had just experimented a little, I might be playing the thing now instead of wanting to smash it.

I was on FBI for a minute and left my 3ds downloading a few things on CIAngel for at least an hour and had nothing happen to me none of them were injected into other games... Still ban free

Once installed the ticket is added to your database file on the sd card, you use godmode9 to generate a dectitlekeys.bin that you upload to the database, it contains no identifying information.
The 3ds doesn't even need to be running cfw you could do it all via ntrboot, but if you have that you might as well install b9s for them.

The titlekey database will then automatically parse the key and add it to the collection and the shop scraper will add the game to the cache next run. Automations real fuckin' neato.

You need to have a hacked 3DS and having bought the game digitally.
Then you just get the decTitlekeys.bin from GodMode9 and upload it to the site.

Search the title ID by game name here 3dsdb.com and you will get what you need. 0004 is the title folder to look in, the last 8 digits are the folder to look for in that folder. If you do it in godmode9, you can view the title info there.
