That was a team building activity, your honor. Everyone's morale at the company increased greatly, aside from Akira's. Sometime I believe she doesn't have the interests of the company in mind.

Here I have some examples of things she might not end up being good at -
Dealing with and caring for those with mental disabilities.
Interacting socially with anyone who won't fall in line with her overbearing, bitchy, demanding personality.
Supporting anybody emotionally, ever, without trying to solve their problems for them potentially making things worse.
She's not a Mary Sue, but if you think she'd be good at everything she tries and doesn't have glaring faults, she might as well be.

I've gotta agree that there's no way Shizune can be inherently good at everything. She can probably improve fairly quickly for anything she can view as vaguely competitive, though.
As for the last two things you listed, reminder that at the end of Shizune's route she begins to realise "wait, hang on, i'm pretty flawed myself" and attempts to take the first few steps to begin self-improvement. As she is for most of the novel, yeah, she's shit for any form of support and most socialising, but at the same time, when she realised how much she was using Misha, she seemed to snap out of it fairly quickly.
At least, I hope she can improve with her supportive ability, I'm pretty fucked in the head and I'd like to imagine best girl would be at least somewhat competent in terms of helping.

Now I want to say that I haven't actually played her route in 6 years. I skip it on all playthroughs because it's a friendship route essentially, and I don't want to be Shizune's friend.
I have been considering playing the Alpha route, but I have other things to read through that keep pushing Shizune's alpha back, because again, I don't like her very much.
She is a motivated and dedicated person for sure, and again, I'm sure she'd be good at most things she tries that aren't social.

This is basically my biggest problem with her. She cannot support effectively. She doesn't interact with people like people, she interacts with robots in need of fixing, in need of direction. I have mental shit too, and Shizoone's special form of support might help me, but more likely would send me deeper down and make me turn inward.

To be fair, Shizune would be shit at every social/person stuff I think that's a given... But to rephrase, she'd be great at pretty much every "work" stuff; Running a business, working whatever job etc...

I'm not sure if that was thought of (thus is canon) or just some coincidence, but I think it kinda makes sense that Shizune is shit with people, given that she barely talked with people during her childhood (none of the people she's spent the most time with/should care for her could talk to her).

I personally don't talk much either - because asocial loner/weirdo - so to me a lack of social skill isn't that important tbqh, doesn't make Shizune any worse to me. As long as (in a waifu daydream scenario) she's not shitty to me, I don't care. Plus, the times where she's truly bad to people can be are quite rare imho.

The 2 most common examples of Shizune being a terrible people that people bring up constantly are the Lilly deadline thing (Just do your fucking job), and the Misha thing (Is Shizune bound to love back anyone who love her? Even if it's not her sexual orientation?). Yes she kept her around, but it's not Shizune's duty to cut Misha out of her life. She was clear, told her "No dating" and from that point it's up to Misha to decide whether she wants to keep hanging out with her, or not.

These 2 things are the ones I see the most when people shit talk Shizune for being a bitch. But neither event was wrong in any way. Some people think it is because they're so out of it in the animu world they don't see how relationships work... And they might be the Neet kind, so they also don't know how the world work (when you have a job you do it when it's due, not 2-3 added deadlines later)

I agree, she would be a great bussinesswoman, and would excel in whatever base "work" she chose. Again, my only problem with her is social, which is very important to me in a waifu, it's who I'm always going to have to interact and deal with if she were real.

I haven't brought up those 2 things because I honestly don't think I need them to argue about Shizune being overbearing and unpleasant to be around.

The only thing I can really think of is Shizune bieng a bitch to Hanako, but people not liking the friends of people they hate isn't exactly a shizune-only thing... Everyone is like that. That's how cliques happen; When every friend in one group hate every friend in that other group because of something that usually began with a 1v1 hate relation. It just seems bitchier in KS because Hanako is one of the datable option so we feel bad for her or something. But that's how it works most of the time.

Other than that, I can't think of much that made Shizune "unpleasant". Most of her 'mean/controlling' stuff I see it more as a game. Of course I like her and her personality so I probably like more stuff than you do, but still, I don't see that many unpleasant things she's done.

Or to put it this way : The entire Shizune arc's "unpleasant things" combined don't even add up to Lilly fucking off to Scotland forever without telling Hisao... Yet Lilly is known as the pleasant, kind, lovely person.

Shizune "being a bitch to Hanako" is essentially the class president, aware of another student's disability and PTSD pushing them and ignoring their mental predispositions because she doesn't understand how people work. Shizune has a responsibility to be better than that, regardless of how she feels about Lilly.
My quarrels come from Shizune constantly playing those games. Not everything IS a game. Not everything is competitive, especially not my day to day relationship (lol), and it grates on me heavily having to play games instead of just enjoying the company of someone I should just be able to relax around, let my guard down. But you can't around Shizune, because Shizune is always looking to win a game that I didn't sign up to play. I hope that makes sense, it's essentially why I don't like her. I don't really care about her interactions with the other characters, I care about how she would interact in a relationship, and I don't think constantly playing games, or the way she treats people is healthy.
Lilly's "conflict" is just an example of terrible writing, and Lilly is a true Mary Sue. Sure, I like her more than Shizune (one step up) but I recognize that's because Lilly is written without any true character flaws besides maybe "cares too much."

well yes it makes sense, but it's mostly a personal preference kind of things.. That might explains why you don't like her but not why you think she's objectively bad or anything.

She's not just "playing games", she's treating your relationship like a game, and you as an AI opponent she can outmanuever. That's not a healthy relationship and it's not personal preference.

It might be a smaller % of the population, but it doesn't makes them bad people, only weirder/suited to less people's preference. Ok maybe the jazz example wasn't the best, but here's one that I think is better : Someone who drinks often (or smoke weed). There are people who will enjoy being with them, either because they think they're funny when stoned, or because they like drinking/smoking weed too. And this (the 'partying' life style) is similar to Shizune's "life style" aka making game of everything.

I totally get that lots of people would not like her for it. But I disagree that it makes her bad or worse in any way. She's just different. And less people might like her for how she is, but that doesn't mean she's "bad"; Shizune's goal - or any human's goal - isn't necessarily to be loved by the most people.

But Trump and Hillary (naming both to avoid bias) are loved by a lot more people than some kind neighbor who'd take care of your cats when you're away, or help old people cross the road. Doesn't make them better than him.
