I assume people need flowers, not powder. Before the patch I could cross pollinate the handful of people that cross pollinate me, but now I need common flower surplus for requests and I only have 7 flowers to grow at once. I actually don’t need powder either, it was just for people to jumpstart their garden - which I know 2 people did. So I wouldn’t be kudosing you for anything. You can maybe try posting in thread to find an xpollinate partner.

If you can get consistent with the bonus reels, you don't need that much. 1K friend powder sunk into slots so far, and I have almost 5K caps, not counting the 750 I already spent on the shirts.

I'm sure they'll update the game soon to where you can have different kinds of flooring and/or none at all.

Back when they first announced multiple rugs and being able to change animals' clothes, they also noted being able to customize the campsite (note the dark wood floors here). It should be in that update, whenever that is.
