damn that all black one looks dumb as fuck i wanted to see it. Baiken has some good colors though
Josiah Anderson
they look better than 90% of the Xrd color 20 black ones desu
Nathaniel Davis
Anybody else feel like a dick when they become king of the cab that two people were already playing on?
Nathaniel White
Could always just hop off everytime you beat the both of em and let em have match

The weak should fear the strong They should be thanking you, losing against a different player is much more educational than beating on the same guy you are familiar with for hours
Cooper Price
They want it back? COME AND TAKE IT
William Edwards
Well to be fair. There's a point where the less skilled player won't learn much if the gap is way too long. Something like having a newbie against a profesional player for example. But since this isn't the case then yea, those dudes should fight for the throne

GGs to Palicca and Wallet This new medication I'm taking makes me feel extremely drowsy and I almost collapsed on my stick twice while playing I think I have to put GG aside for the next few days

GGs guys
Joseph Young
The EC†PC room is now closed for the night. I completely lost track of time and kept it open for an extra hour. Thanks for stopping by everyone.
GGs to Nichijoe, Wallet, Paragon, Shannam, and everyone else who came out even if I didn't get a chance to play you guys. Even though he wasn't here tonight, I also want to thank doombot. I've been going absolutely mad with over analyzing my own game play for months now. That Sol mirror from the tourney helped me remember something I've almost forgotten; GG matches should be fun above all else. I don't need to get better every day to do that.
GGs guys and thanks for not only the matches, but always being up for an EC†PC lobby. I wanted to know how much I really appreciate all of you guys for that.
Sebastian Reyes
>took some games off gear Not a hard task, he's bad, like REALLY bad, total pupu caca, not proficient at videogames, the "lose a Grand Finals 4-5" kind of bad

Pachi, Faust needs a 4 frame jab.
Thanks and have a good day.

>Johnny is +10 with MF Cancel Lv3 >Surprised the johnny was allowed to dash up on the zato

+10 only perfectly timed on his highest level moves, and his dash is still more than that even FD'd. If he dashes on you after a mist cancel he is - no matter what.
Nolan Brooks

>but always being up for an EC†PC lobby yeah mang it's a great feeling to know even if I miss one there will always be another to attend the next day, and if there isn't I can always host my own and get a couple people to fight
Christian Martin
Let's all take a moment of silence for Minifaust. Who selflessly sacrificed his life to protect his master and cockblock my wins more times than I'd care to admit tonight. He will be missed by some, missed slightly less by others. Ashes to ashes and dust to dust. Amen.
Jackson Sullivan
nice. i like it
Evan King
I'm glad i could help you learn to have fun again gear you guys are all great and i enjoy playing this game with you al
William Perry
sup pivot I really need to turn back on spectator comments one of these days. also GGs you really need to up your anti-air game and learn to dodge my terrible 5d mixups that I use cause tk ms is hard, after that I can start being afraid of all the spooky ball setups you've labbed
Benjamin Ward
Did you watch the webm, what buttons is he MF Cancelling?
Hmmmmm

Good games indeed. I'll share some tech even though I lost: if you want to win even more you should definitely do more combos when you get a hit in either with 2K (kind of hard if you're not ready) or the j.HS -> j.D you got through way too many times and if the character has no dp like Venom, whenever you get a knockdown, a simple K-ball (into -> dashjump j.K -> airdash into air hits or into nothing at all and then for a low) is an okay oki option. Against characters like Sol who can do dp or blitz or GV or something else equally hard to deal with P-ball->5P is a safer, although maybe not as flashy or with high damage potential. Meanwhile I NEED to stop eating those fucking 5D's and also to get my 6P up to par.
Thank you for hosting and the games man.

>either with 2K you talking about 2k > c.S > iad combo? yeah I need to learn to start linking 2k into c.S more just feels really awkward to get the spacing right for that though without getting thrown. >or the j.HS -> j.D how do I combo with that is it just dash > j.KSHD > 6h? >K-ball oki yeah iirc I remembered to do it one of the matches I had against you but I really need to get used to doing more instead of my standard P-ball oki I do on EVERY knockdown >p-ball oki against DP characters this i'm not really sure how to do. Is it just waiting til there in blockstun from the ball /then/ running up and doing my mixups or how do I force them to block instead of just dping/qving out for free? >6P up to par. you really do need to learn the glory of 6p and ingrain it into your mind forever. Free 75 damage and oki off counter hit is too good to be passing up. Thanks for all the advice man. I've feel like i've been sticking around the same level of skill for like a month now since i've just been getting lazy instead of trying to improve and learn more and it's starting to nag at me.
Nathan Taylor
>you talking about 2k > c.S > iad combo? That for the characters it works on (I think all of the men but I might be wrong) and for the ones it doesn't (the ladies and some of the men) you can go 2K > c.S > QV-P (might be most optimal for followup) > dashjump j.KSHD > 6H and if you feel like it, K-ball > (fast)5P > BH > j.S airdash. The one I managed to use. Timings can be pretty hard to nail down with both of these combos. >how do I combo with that is it just dash > j.KSHD > 6h? Yes, you can do that, but you can go for over 200 damage if instead of 6H there you do dashjump >j.KSHD > 6H > QV-S > 5P (might need a dash before it on some characters) > IAD j.SHD > 6H. This is assuming you're around midscreen and from there you can carry the opponent into corner. >p-ball oki against DP characters Well, you can do the 5P dash-in, but also stuff like charging QV or because it isn't that negative on block if you get it charged a level or two or P-ball > 2P > Carcass or P-ball > Carcass or P-ball > (charged) Stinger (usually S). All of the ball stuff is very dependent on how far you've planned ahead or how quickly you can figure out a good solution for a certain wakeup-situation (their options, distance, location, how fast they wake up and more) so all I can really say is grab your balls and get flinging in lab if you want to learn how they work. Watch pros, too. Good stuff there. Sorry the reply took a while, I'm vomiting out all the info I can think of right now.
Benjamin Rivera
I love the character, watching pros and labbing even though the love and hours spent don't always show in matches, mainly because I don't go online often enough. Hopefully that's enough for you to chew on for a while. I'll give my input on any Venom-tech related questions I can if you or any of you guys are interested.
Alexander Moore
Still working on different color schemes and setups. I made this one for now to be similar to the last color version of my drawings.
Jace Robinson
I'm interested in seeing the final version of this.
Eli Nguyen
I'm redrawing it a bit and I'm going to work on the balance of colors. I still can't seem to get the line work exactly how I want it with a mouse, but I'm making steady progress so far.
On a side note, I listen to a lot of music when drawing and sometimes it effects how I try to make certain things look. If anyone is interested, these are the two tracks I was probably listening to the most in this project so far. >youtube.com/watch?v=AujP2_33_4w >youtube.com/watch?v=D4--z-bFHqI
Oliver Davis
>Sorry the reply took a while no problem man it was worth the wait >j.S airdash. do you mean just doing another loop of j.SHD > 6h? >instead of 6H so you mean >j.KSHD > dash > j.KSHD > 6h > rest of combo or j.KSHD > 6h > rest of combo instead of just ending at the 6h >get flinging in lab if you want to learn how they work. fair enough thanks for the other oki option examples though Damn you are one genuine ball lover while I just got a measly 1d worth of hours in the lab. Thanks again for the writeup and I'll be sure to take you up on that offer if I can think of anything. p.s. qv > 6p timing is a bitch I still need to get into muscle memory gonna continue my time in the lab now to try and get that conversion off of counter hit j.H > J.D
Christian Bennett
2D>K ball JK is a safe jump and can be blitz safe with slightly delayed timing and crossup spacing, you definitely want to do it sometimes, just have to watch out for characters like ky where VT will hit you from behind
Gavin Adams
so if im understanding this correctly you have to stand block to use baikens alpha counters
Jaxon Collins
standing c.S IAD route works on everyone, the lighter characters you delay the IAD or do a super jump to avoid the JH whiffing. the rejump JKSHD is pretty free on a lot of people and worth for the carry if you're not going to do 2 ball QV oki routes like PQV>K or SQV>P
2D>SP dash 5P/5K is another thing to consider, I like it vs mashers but it can lose to things like johnny reversal super
Caleb Collins

Xavier Long
is this what the kids are calling invite hell nowadays
Mason Rogers
you're misunderstood
Zachary Wilson
Yes. You certainly can't crouch. But I gather they aren't simple guard cancels anymore, now it's essentially just a counter you can also perform during block.
in XX, you perform the input while in blockstun whether or not you are crouching or not. In Xrd, guard cancel Azami is like a 1f window when you block an attack where you also have to like plink the input of the follow up you want.
I'm going to preface this by saying it's 7 am here. >and if you feel like it, K-ball > (fast)5P > BH > j.S airdash Before the K-ball setup the opponent is knocked down and you probably have some distance. As the P-ball you set up earlier with QV-P goes to the K-formation, you can hit it with 5P and then hit the K-ball you set up with j.S and airdash after it for further pressure while the P-ball is trailing slowly behind. >so you mean >j.KSHD > dash > j.KSHD > 6h > rest of combo or j.KSHD > 6h > rest of combo instead of just ending at the 6h Sorry, the combo after j.HD I was thinking of is dashjump j.KSHD > 6H > QV-S > 5P > IAD j.SHD > 6H. I've understood that if you successfully blitz a projectile and the opponent is near enough, the opponent gets stunned by the blitz as if the opponent hit the shield directly. I thought you need to do dash superjump j.K to make it safe against blitz and dps, which I thought was a bit much if the guy used P-ball > 5P almost exclusively and wanted to get into other setups. I probably should have told him. This is true and I also should have told him about it. I usually just go for the QV from c.S if the character is so light I would need to deal with superjump and/or delaying the airdash, as the end position of the opponent and the damage are very similar. But what is SP dash?
Jordan Baker
I haven't heard the english voices since the PS4 demo for SIGN.
Hudson Diaz
>Rev 2 on sale on steam >All my meleefag friends pick it up
They're probably going to drop it in a week, but I'm so happy they're trying.
Wyatt Stewart
I still played with the Japanese voices as I was used to them, but I'd be lying if I said parts of the dub didn't grow on me over time. Granted I'm glad they didn't keep doing it though. It wouldn't have been worth delaying Revelator.
I like how they handle the subs in story mode. They continue to write them as if they were meant to be read out loud for a dub. I wish more subs would be like that.
Aiden Hernandez
There weren't Japanese voices in the demo if I recall
Jose Fisher
>as the end position of the opponent and the damage are very similar I need to go to bed. The end position and damage is naturally better if you start farther away from midscreen and do the rejump j.KSHD.
Benjamin Murphy
For Revelator? Really? I didn't know that. Did they put together what they had so far?
Jayden Morgan
I'm talking about SIGN
Jaxon Martinez
Can you really not tiger knee a dp with 62369? If so I apologize for some of what I said about axl mains.
William Kelly
I don't know if it's true or not, but I always felt like there was something weird about Axl Bomber TK. Like you have to delay it a little more than you do with most TKs, so you have to use slightly different TK inputs.
Cooper Butler
You can, the timing is somewhat strict on tk inputs in this game in general. just practice.
Hunter Clark
For TK bomber inputs you just jc your normal and then bomber at the minimum height, that's all you need to do to be able to integrate it into bomber loops. Bomber has a minimum height you need to be before you can actually do it.
Charles Perry
Oh yeah. I figured that. I actually like David Forseth's Sol voice better than Troy Baker's. Even if Baker can match George Nakata's deep tone, it felt a bit generic, especially considering how many different roles Baker's had over the years. Overture's translation was also really clever at times, like translating "Yare yare, daze" to "What a drag", which I felt fit Sol better.
Geroge Nakata is one of my favorite voice actors in general, so I didn't mind him voicing Sol over Daisuke back in the day.
Evan Wilson
Hmm thats really weird, its only coming out when I do 6239 by accident.
Hunter Martin
I always thought it was kind of adorable/sad that they gave you the option to switch Sol voices. I'd never switch from Daisuke, though.
Levi Green
Like with bomber loops the normals you would do the loops with would be like 2S or cS, both are jump cancellable. So you can do your input like 2S (2 hits) 8 when the opponent is at maximum height from the 2S (very tiny delay) 623H
Elijah Jackson
Usually I keep George on Order Sol and Daisuke on Sol. I feel George can do Order Sol a bit more justice considering how bitter and violent he is compared to how he is later as just regular Sol.
Yeah that's prob good enough, was just trying to do them raw.
Joshua Lewis
>got a friend in to Revelator >bored of it after a week of getting bodied >uses this opportunity to pretend he's an expert on GG >recent interview with Daisuke means GG's casualized and doomed. I should've smothered him while he was young.
Alexander Lee
That's fair, I just love Daisuke too much probably.
Angel Morgan
i was talking about xx specifically her gaurd cancels sound cool so i wanted to try her shes not my style in xrd
and so you just have to put the input in while they dont have an active move out and you are in block stun?
I know exactly the interview you're talking about, good fucking lord >They explicit go out of their way to mention they don't want to strip away what makes Guilty Gear what it is and alienate their core fans >Retards are still claiming that they're going to turn it into DBZF levels of shallow How the fuck do these people dress themselves
