I'd say there's a small chance. If the foreign playerbase is high they may consider it, but VNs aren't popular in the west so they just may not consider it at all. Considering how much text is in this game and how much money they threw at it, I'd think they'd have outright had an English option from launch if they wanted it.

VNs are still niche as fuck. Yes a lot of crappy korean, chinese and western ones are on steam atm but that's because they're cheap to TL since Chinks translate them on the cheap. Japanese VNs make a tiny portion of VNs on Steam and those are usually either extremely short or were popular enough to begin with that a fan TL group started the TL and sold it off on the cheap when the Cease and Desist came in the mail.

Up as far as I've read in the main story and her episodes she doesn't seem that interested in the MC and I don't think it's out of denseness. Kokkoro is the main heroine.

Pecorine mostly treats him as a younger brother. She likes to tease him and call him cute. She seems to be pretty aware of the intimate vibes her actions sometimes give off, but doesn't push it further.

Well, if you don't like Kuuka (I totally understand since I found her repulsive at first too) then you're running about as good as a team as you can. Problem is Eriko is squisy as all hell and desperately needs a true tank with taunt to function. I do recommend giving Kuuka a chance but I'm sure you can make do with what you have.

She recovers her own health. Her ultimate heals like 25% of her max HP and gives her a shield.

Yes, she is quite a self sufficient tank. She does jack shit for damage but she allows Eriko to run wild on the battlefield. If you happen to luckshit Yukari from your rolls, she is the perfect support for Kuuka.

What does it feel like to hold hands with an elf?

Dissapointed if the setting is just another guys get stuck in MMO even if memories deleted or not. I like the fantasy world as it is, kinda ruins to know they have real life version that aren't elf or vampire, etc.

There is literally a button that tells you.

After the reset the MMO seems to have become somewhat real. The characters have no actual memories of real life except for certain times when the goddess that reset the world deems to show them a snippet of real life.

Still, its settings like this that make me wonder how are we progressing on a true VRMMO game. In an aside trivia, we are actually getting close to SAO's timeframe

It's the opposite for me.
There are plenty of fantasy-themed mobages out there, but no VR-mmo themed aside from SAO.
The real life versions are one the points which got me interested in the game in the first place.

I work as a mercenary AI programmer in the games industry. I often go to conferences and in-industry gigs and I'll tell you one thing: VR in its current form is nothing but an investor trap. The end goal is still true VR, but the idea of VR in the form of say SAO is outright a pipe dream with our current level of tech. Let me put it simply, VR in its current state is literally just strapping a monitor to your face and using head tracking technology to track where you're facing.

The game industry needs to dump shit like Oculus and Vive and start working on ways to overcome the limitation of electricity if you ever want to see true VR.

Take my word with a slight grain of salt though, I'm privy to a lot of things but not everything that goes on in the industry. I just highly doubt any of us will see true VR in our lifetimes.

Yeah, I guess the technology isnt quite there yet. The VRMMOs depicted in fiction are often basically extremely sophisticated brain-game I/O interfaces. And I know for a fact that neurology + I/O interfaces has not reached that level yet

Its the contrary for me. I hate SAO and all the idea that an MMO tries to emulate fantasy world, I wish it was a full fantasy world with a comfy adventure. There is lack of this with the sudden rise of MMO like stories that become or not real, thanks fucking Kirito for that. I think Overlord its the only I can accept nowadays.

Of course, I'm resting my hopes on quantum computing, as cliche as it sounds. The problem with binary computing is that everything is stored as either 1s or 0s and must be read in a string in order to process. But since quantum computers are able to store data in states rather than in bits. This will allow for significant improvement in both the storage and processing of data, and hopefully the speed. The one thing we are truly lacking to create the interfaces needed for true VR is speed.

While I'm not going to argue, let me just clarify that the original Priconne was more like a "mmo slice of life" rather than "stuck inside an mmo epic battle shounen". Think Netoge no Yome or Netojuu no Susume.
A lot of comfy side stories and character developments only benefited from showing both in-game and real life versions.

Now it's just like said, though. For now I think they've got both fans of the previous game interested with a plot suspence and the new players who enjoy a pure fantasy with a tweest.
