What I meant was she is mechanically a good player and her hero pool fits the niche that shanghai needs. She is a great pickup for them.

definitely true, but the root of this has been dallas' poor showing. I actually don't think it's surprising for them given their historically shitty team preperation and their pickup of a key player in xqc was a straight up disaster. The envyus roster just relied on mechanical skill to play APEX. xqc is the opposite of what you want for fostering a good team enviroment. Everything dallas did worked against them for stage 1. other than dallas I can't think of any other team that is stacked with personal talent yet is playing like total dogshit.

The biggest problem for shanghai to me is aside from diya/undead their team just is not good enough on an individual level. teamwork is king in OWL btu that can only do so much if 4/6 players are getting outskilled in every game they play. gegrui adn fearless being top tank players will be able to provide the space that diya/undead need to get work done. if they work well together they will kick ass.
