I didn't really feel as connected to the story as I did with Crystal Tower. I felt the story was much weaker. I liked the aesthetics, though.

if it makes you feel any better there have been a lot of server lag issues recently, and if you lag that badly you usually do get a dc symbol beside your name during lag spikes. so it's not like people thought you were being a dumbass.

LotA is a bigger joke than ever these days. At least during ARR you had to do some of the mechanics. Now you skip at least half of every fight, if not more.

It's been a lot worse lately, I've noticed. I think because we hit the peaks of mainstream activity and it's just shitters needing it for 340 gear doing it now.

He dies so fast now it's kind of funny. I've seen alliances down him before he gets to use his second Ancient Flare.

I've been getting it frequently for alliance raid roulette and it's always a crapshoot. Sometimes you get a good alliance, sometimes it's a pretty terrible alliance that manages to stumble through with few or no wipes, or there's the super bad alliances that can't get past the second boss.

Its not hard, its just fucking awkward, you don't even have positionals, its just awkward.

There isn't a problem with random chatter in comms unless people are too stupid to walk and chew bubblegum at the same time. If it's a group of friends that are comfortable with the content it's a blast.

I always tell learning/prog groups to clear comms when they're talking too much to get them to focus up since they can't seem to multi-task well.
