VRChat anything, obviously. In the long run you will spend 9/10ths of your VR happy time in this one program, even if you don't know it yet.
Other nice things are Sprint Vector, Robo Recall, Onward. I really like I Expect You To Die, but it's short and expensive for something with no replay value.

I’ve seen videos of VRChat and while it looks entertaining it doesn’t seem like the kind of thing I’d bother with. Robo Recall looks kinda cool and it’s a free download for me so I’ll definitely give that a try. Onward looks really cool but I’m always iffy about early access, is it really worth getting at this point? I Expect You To Die looks like a lot of fun and it’s on sale right now so I can probably justify getting that even if it’s short. Is Sprint Vector multiplayer only? I’m probably going to focus more on solo experiences for now but I’ll keep it in mind if I’m gonna branch out into multiplayer.

There are a bunch of early access indie games for VR that are absolutely worth playing, including Onward. Just read the reviews and check out some gameplay footage before buying them. Also keep in mind that since VR is such a small market, even relatively small indie games might cost a bit more than you'd expect.
