In the recall cinematic, it shows gibraltar is a derelict base with fences, no tresspassing, and in clear signs of near abandonment. Yet in the game its lively functioning, and apparently still in use. Is this just Chu being stupid and failing continuity?

Also in this short, there is a name on the device used to hack Athena. As best I can tell, "Lamprey" is on the device. Has anyone tracked down what this is?

That's pretty much what that image is implying, sort of. The going around battlefields and sucking the life out of soliders was her testing the abilities of her work.

Theorycrafting in a universe this both intentionally and unintentionally unplanned and inconsistent is a futile effort. They couldn't keep D.Va's history with StarCraft consistent, and you think one letter ("last decadeS") won't be just hand-waved away as an error.

We're talking about a world where the writer himself doesn't know how old the characters are, where there are tons of official and in-game pictures which suggest impossible timelines, and where the only actual story based comic/book got cancelled so they players can self insert their gay fantasies easier.

I just had an idea of Hero 27. Yes, it's Sanjay, but his codename would be Ares. Why he would be "meta shaking" would be his passive is that he can not truly die. The respawn timer will still be there when he "dies", but instead of being back in the spawn room, he just appears back to where he died unless it's a death pit (e.g. well or water). The passive can be explained by Moira trying to keep people alive because the previous experiments kept on dying and it's not very cost-effective to keep replacing them, that and it can also serve as a parallel to Mercy and Genji.

Jeff gave this as an excuse. In reality, the comic was full of so many lore inconsistencies because it was made so early in development it would have caused more problems. And that's from Chu.

"Decades" is 20 years minimum. Moira released her paper and was made a mockery of decades ago, which is also 20 years minimum. There is no reason why that wouldn't fall in place.

No, Moira does Symmetra levels of damage at 20+ yards, plus an orb that does 150 damage in a small area. So most people focus on DPS instead of focusing on healing. I outheal Moiras as zen regularly in QP and watch their POTGs, 4+ team mates in critical health and they throw a damage orb or ult the enemies instead.
