Then there's nothing wrong with it being blocked by deflect either. If Reinhardt were around a seven story building and Genji full stopped his attack and even sent the damage back then you'd have a point.

I'm legitimately confused why D'va gets two lives when she's already a tank with huge amount of health? No other character can magically jump out of their armor and revive full health. If anything Tracer should have the two lives ability. Realistically it wouldn't be hard to program her recall to automatically trigger when her heart beat stops (in the Overwatch universe).

Deflect is wasted and no one gets damaged by a deflected hammer swing. He still gets moved around. Unless you make the hammer swing stun which would in turn fuck everyone else in the process it isn't necessary. Hell, getting Genji to waste deflect on the hammer swing lets you fire strike him safely.

Genji should get damaged by all forms of melee so he doesn't have an instant, brainless, invincibility button.

It's not wasted because Genji is casting an invincibility spell making him immune to all damage and incidentally reflecting all damage back to the rein he's facing should any damage come from rein's team. Rein, like 99% of the cast, is fucking helpless as soon as genji deflects.

It's about nerfing a crutch. Genji shouldn't have an invincibility key every 6 seconds.

Doomfist's attacks aren't block by deflect, Winston's lightning, Zarya's beam, Symmetra beam, Moira's beam, shooting him from behind doesn't. It's two seconds and he's stuck with eight seconds not having it. Melee is blocked but things like being moved around by them isn't stopped.
