Is it possible to enjoy this game if one didn't enjoy BnS at all? I understand the games are quite similar, but BnS honestly left a foul taste in my mouth - everything is floaty, no trinity killed it for me ironically, user interface is fucked.

How does Tera different from BnS?

Tera isn't floaty
Attacks feel like they have weight and the UI isn't as fucked as BnS

combat is darksouls-y with only a handful of ranged abilities being lock-ons

I just felt like the only thing I did in BnS is mash random buttons (courtesy of no trinity). And why I am aware I never did any actually difficult content, I felt like I have no purpose or weight in the group, all I did was spam fucking abilities as they come off cd. The combat system is great, but I want a purpose

There's a trinity in Tera so no matter what you pick you'll contribute to a party. As for mashing buttons, you can do that in tera, but people will quickly call you out on it if all you're doing is mashing buttons.

No sprinting and there is flying but it's in open world only.

I've had to move my install from steam to standalone. Is copying the 'Client' (most of the data) folder from steam to standalone a bad idea, such as, will it double up or conflict? So far, it's installing.

not really. just grinding day in and day out.

the guilds seem equally dead between TR and CH, I don't know about the MT guild
but overall TR is more populated than CH, minus the erping trannies that keep tricking noobs into joining CH and then they get stuck on CH and also trick people into joining CH, it is a never ending cycle

some equipment look can be bought with fashion coupons and equip into those slot

I mean I know that we can't, and that we can get some designs, but like, is there a reason for that? There's a couple of weapon design templates that look amazing that aren't in the coupon store.

they're too lazy to add every single model in there.. i really wish they would also bring back the separated design so you could miss match glove or boot and armor with other sets and all.. we can only dream

I mean we already have the visual for the equipment, is there a tag that prevents the weapon from going in the costume slot, or is it a thing where the costumes are an entire different class and they won't function right or something? Not saying you'd know, just wracking my brain over it.

no normal gear or weapon can be set into costume tab, only specified cosmetic/weapon skin can be, and for weapon only to your class obviously and gear only to your normal armor type if its from fashion coupons, its sadly pretty limited
