I feel bad for /wowsg/ as a whole and for raptor. Not because he got banned, but because of his nearly singular goal to drive /wowsg/ apart, because if he can't have it no one can. Raptor used to incite people simply to get a rise out of them. Now he is trying to split an already niche community of a niche game apart, to fracture it between "old" CBT players and "nu-wowsg". Just because you found the game a year or more after it came out does not make you any less a member of the community. It doesn't make you any more or less of a member of Veeky Forums. Every group has it's members that don't quite fit in for one reason or another. I've been in them an been the person that doesn't fit too. There is nothing wrong with that, but you have to realize that forcing yourself into a social circle won't last forever, and trying to tear it apart as you leave is only going to hurt more people, and those you try to take with you will probably still leave you afterward. It may be a few days, weeks, or even months, but people will almost always return to their family, in this case their old friends.
Raptor, to you all I have to say is; I hope you find a group of people that truly accepts you for all your banter and antagonizing, but please stop trying to pull everything apart. I'm not telling you to leave the thread or the friends you've made, I'm not even asking you to do that. Just let go, it's not worth it.

It's so satisfying just ROLLING down a flank with a bismarck and a competent team behind you, 50/130K of my damage was from secondaries/fire.

It has >11km secondaries, no DD can stay at 11km and hope to torp Bismarck unless whoever sails it is retarded.

You don't need to torp a bismarck to kill it as a tier 8+ DD, fire will do that for you

11km secondaries have approximately a 6% hit rate with maybe 200 damage a hit against DDs at speed.
