Any Hilads with good tips going against a conq? The most reliable thing I can do is cancel the kick into toss for a OF heavy, but other than that I don't got much. If I OF dodge his bash it seems like my kick gets stuffed if he throws a light. Maybe OF light?

I've been having trouble with this matchup too. One thing that has sometimes worked for me is using the new Celtic Curse cancel to flow right into OF. They often want to go into All block when they see the Celtic Curse startup. If they do, you can just kick them. If not, cancel an OF heavy into kick. Won't work on good players more than once or twice but it's one of the only good strategies I've found so far.

Okay so I haven't played since the end of Season 1, and while I can still hold my own for the most part, there are a lot of new things going on.
I mostly play Warden, and first of all I can't figure out how to cancel my shoulder bash. Did they remove that or something?

Second, holy fuck I can NOT fight the Shinobi or the Gladiator at ALL. They just demolish me and I barely get a hit in. What's the trick with these guys?

And basically any other important changes I should know that have happened since Season 1 would be nice. I've figured out myself that you don't get a GB off a parry anymore, so that's cool, at least the game isn't as turtley anymore.

Anyone else having an issue where the event is being weird with lag? As in, timing's a bit 'off' with attacks, etc? I swear it's been timewarping for 5 matches in a row for me, it's fucked up.

The window to cancel the shoulder bash is way earlier than it was at launch. You can't do super-late cancels anymore.

Here's the new parry rules in a nutshell:
>Parry > guardbreak doesn't work anymore
>Parrying a heavy gives a guaranteed light (or equivalent)
>Parrying a light gives a guaranteed heavy (or equivalent)

No. You can only parry or dodge an unblockable, unless it's a non-weapon attack like Highlander's boot or Conqueror's shield bash, in which case you just dodge it (or hit him out of it).
