im not sure if gummy is actually using bots now or if people realize how dead the server is by level 20-30 but the fact that over half of the population has been sub-30 for weeks now and the amount of 70s is stagnating makes it obvious how much 'growth' is happening. there's a few gummy shills here that post everyday about how active the server is while trying to trick people into playing there. some fall for it and then quit when they realize its fucking dead. then the gummy posters just spam oleg at anyone who doesnt agree with them. fuck gummy, fuck outland. we'll never have a good tbc server until classic.

we did this yesterday. there were roughly 200 people on each faction. 75~ players on each faction were under 20. another 50 or so were 21-30. the leaving 75 players above 30 on each faction. it has been like this for WEEKS. i rolled here two weeks ago and made it to level 40 before quitting due to how dead the server is.

gameplay wise fantastic, the issue are it's mediocre pop and the fact that gummy is a turboautist

it's literally the best scripted tbc server, 1x no p2w. It is low population but it's grown from 100 in December to peaks over 700 last weekend.
Do 1-10 and compare it to any server, then see if the population is something you can handle

Ask yourself if you wanna play on an empty server that might get shut down at any minute and on one that will close the second classic launches?

Scripting on Felmyst is actually so much better than any other TBC server, even if it was just me and 24 other players I would still play here just to experience the pve content

Almost lvl 30 by now, server is low pop but people saying you cant find people to do anything with are liars. Also got invited to another dungeon by whisper, dude probably just /who'd and talked to people on the level range.

The whole Felmyst debacle really made me think about how much the popularity of each server is due to hype/shilling. Felmyst is probably the best private server we've seen in terms of quality, but it's basically dead because it had a quiet soft launch. Everyone says that they don't want to play on Felmyst because gummy lied or whatever, but these are the same people who stuck around on Elysium for months even after it was obvious to everyone that the entire staff was corrupt and lying through their teeth. The real reason why Felmyst is dead is because it didn't have a massive hype wave leading to the opening (well, it did, but then it closed). And that's basically what servers live and die on, regardless of quality. Meanwhile, everyone on /r/wowservers (which I tend to take as the best representation of the "general" pserver playerbase) is already getting hyped for the next mediocre Wrath server release (anyone remember Northcraft?). That really says a lot about this shitty community.

it says more about shitty admins. gummy alone is the reason the server isnt growing. his past three servers have all shut down within the span of months (or hours in felmysts case), he hyped the shit out of felmyst only to create a fake c+d to get out of it which blue balled all of those excited to play on it. then he hosted it privately for a guild that everyone in the private server community hates. the server is the best option for tbc without a doubt but gummy already has three strikes and that's why people aren't playing on his server.

People sign up for crogge's servers in a hearbeat if they're the current flavor of the month. Stop trying to pretend that anyone in this community centered around pirated 10 year old content for a defunct MMO has any sort of standards.
