What's a good "fundamentals" character? The selection guide says that about Lars, but he has a low crushing safe mid launch in his orbital and a high crushing mid launch with u+3 (lightning screw I think it's called). I feel like there would be a strong temptation to lean on that and reward stupid behavior, speaking for my own dumb ass here.

Was really annoying and yeah he ran a clinic on me I couldn't win once. Didn't help that he was abusing the fuck out of throws being hard to break online. Literally mashing 1 and I got giant thrown 90% of the time.

He would duck FC d/f2, power crush tackle, or do that high crush launcher if I did that. Doesn't help that my character doesn't have a 10 frame jab.
