for the Realism-Mod user, could it be you increased the Random Encounter chance for testing and forgot to tune it back down in the final version of the mod?

that being said
>all he had was 20 Groschen
on one side I'm not accidentally killing him all the time now, on the other I really feel bad for impoverishing this poor lad.

>Tavern keepers hang out and eat porridge in the morning since they have nothing else to do

I love this game more and more every time i notice things like this

Nth for hating the monastery quest makes you a pleb

Years before this game came out I learned the same exact dice game from my 80 year old neighbor

its literally the thing keeping me from playing the game

I'm a pleb I guess then

I wouldn't mind it half as much if it was a side quest instead of shitty filler for the main quest, as all of the shit you do in the Monastery becomes pointless when the owner of the Alehouse tells you about the Bandit Camp in Vranik, making your entire adventure a huge waste of time. All you need is the die from the Bandits in the swamp.

you literally dont even have to do it retard

The relative value of things. Advances in technology has made everything so much cheaper to produce that a new car today costs the same thing as a sandwich hundreds of years ago relative to the overall material wealth available.

Its all a scheme to siphon money up to the top while making people more and more impoverished with out even realizing it because their lives are getting more comfortable.

To be clear, your personal absolute wealth is based on the amount you personally own/control compared to the sum total of all owned/controlled wealth. A medieval peasant had a bigger cut of the pie today than even the middle class does.

God wills it

only proper way to do the camp sabotage.

>beat the captain in a real weapon fight
>he doesn't say shit
life is suffering

And he still died with 23 because his lord had an argument with his cousin or maybe it was the Plague, or syphilis.
Even if he was richer proportionally, I can shitpost on a Bhutanese woodworking forum in my underwear gorging myself on inexpensive calories and ordering women or food to my very bedroom.

GET BACK ON YOUR SCHEDULE user. SHITPOSTING ON Veeky Forums ISN'T FOR ANOTHER 4 HOURS.

Has anyone had it play out any other way? Stealth is OP in this game, but some of those angles to get to the pots / arrow buckets don't even seem like they're easily approachable w/o alerting a good number of enemies.

The way to get to the pots and arrows is around the back and disguising yourself, then you can just waltz up and poison stuff. You obviously have to gtfo when you fuck up the arrows, but that is easily accomplished in a little sprint.

Has Robber Baron been fixed yet? I want to do it but if it's going to screw with my game then fuck it

I haven't progressed very far in the main quest (just reached the city with guy with a limp), does the whole disguise oneself as enemy get explained? Can I just put on something black and waltz into a bandit camp?

where to find radzig's helmet

if i ever replay the game i'll try that. I didn't know disguises actually worked in this game. What even counts as a disguise though? From what I recall those assholes were all in fairly normal mail/brigandine stuff with a black waffenrock or hood. Or do you mean like a full cuman set? I feel like there are a lot of systems in this game that are 1) never really introduced 2) so selectively deployed that learning to use them only ever pays off in 1 or 2 situations in the entirety of the game.

Why the hell is half-swording only available to short swords and not longswords?

meant to quote

is the christian thing to mercy kill or just let god sort out if they live or die?

i've read that cuman wear gets you into the cuman camp but they will try to talk to you and get suspicious since you can't respond.

imo it ought to work in the bandit camp as well unless they aren't exactly on the best of terms.

For that situation it's a full Cuman set. You'd better have good Speech if any of them talks to you in Hungarian though.
There's a full set in a locked crate by the back entrance where the Cumans are.

you only really mercy kill the ones who are already spasming out on the ground

kind of wish they'd get rid of this so i could just loot them while they're dying and walk away to let them bleed out.

Who cares, combos are nearly impossible to use anyway.

what a short game. fuck me. I want revenge!

Apparently there's a way to make it not break your game.

quest worked just fine for me, but i'm a speech bby. was able to resolve things peacfully, got the dude to pay restitution / leave the loot, and then after the quest completed i went back and murdered him for his shield.

Beer bibber or wine bibber?

Who are the best people to send to gather water and shovel shit?

Can you load saves made after you completed it?

wine is more relevant in the story i think

why don't you fucking talk to them and find out

>masquerade quest
How the hell am I supposed to get 3 full cuman officer armor if I've already cleared all their camps?

>fast travel and come across duel with wayfaring knight
>spent 5 mins just fighting like men

gods that was a good fight, even though he beat me

>come across a miller holding a cuman
>figure I can speak to the miller, tell him I must escort this enemy of the king as a direct representative of a lord, and pay him as necessary
>little shit talks down to me, tells me to fuck off and that he'll take him to the millrun
>call his bluff
>with my fist
>roughly 5 seconds later and him and his hired hands are btfo
>mfw

I wish you could have more of a relationship with Bernard considering he's the one chiefly responsible for making a swordsmaster out of you.

>Gods
Heathen detected. That knight should have killed you.

>being a monotheist in 1403
literally lmaoing at you brother

they respawn. besides, I found two of them in one camp. Actually two in all of them I think

this

look forward to seeing that motherfucker every time

Can the polearms be used on the horse? I heard you can only steal them from guards.

Just finished it, saved right after turning it in to Sir Hanush, and it looks like it worked. What I did was killed everyone in the camp as soon as the northern farmwife lead me to it, without reporting back to Sir Bernard for reinforcements

I sincerely hope you haven't done anything silly like put headgear on Henry.

Some bandits use reforged scythes, and some cumans use halberds

>I heard you can only steal them from guards
Nah when I was hunting with Hans a Cuman came up to me while I was shootign rabbits and fucked me over with a polearm.

what are graphics options like on ps4? Can you at least disable post processing stuff like motion blur?

You better give Pickman water-carrying duty if you want one of the 5 shards of Queen Sheeba's sword. What a fucking stupid quest.

looks like him and his hired hands caught hands

the sword's not the best sword in the game so idk it doesn't matter

Vertical FOV and gamma correction. That's it, I've never seen so few settings on any game period. It runs well on pro though and I haven't crashed at all since the last update. Still would recommend PC version for mods but if you can't run it it's great on ps4pro, can't speak for old ps4 though.

>realism
>Henry can't even put his sword away without putting it through his leg, probably severing a major artery.
>Doesn't loose any health, or lose any arrows
>People say this is good realism.
>mfw

the fuck are you on about

Yeah it definitely doesn't feel "real". It is fun though. Maybe they meant most realistic in terms of graphics. Because it is a beautiful game.

>Henry collects books he can't read to look at the pictures

This is how I justify hoarding books before I can read.

>finish wiping out a cuman encampment
>fast travel back to Talmberg
>get interrupted 4 times by more cumans
>mfw

>train with Bernard
>riposte/masterstroke every attack
>maxed strength, agility, defense, sword, axe, mace, unarmed
>?????????
>profit

You killed their brothers. You're the Runt in their story

I feel bad doing those duels when using a mace, since a master stroke can instakill them

Is an agile build with shortswords/sabers viable?

They're gonna die, user. But they'll feel retarded and in major pain until they eventually do.

Does he come back to life?
Also which knight is this?
>(Only ever met he merc so forgive my insolence)

I unironically want to play this dice game at bars and pubs, holidays with family, and house parties...

Somewhat easy to pick up and learn, and easy to bet all sums of money, just need your parents yahtzee dice and cup and that's it.

>(Oh shit is this actually yahtzee???)
>How is Yahtzee played differently compared to Ye Olde Game of Farkle??

Peasant.

Aye..me too...me too.....
>tfw Bernard Sempai will never notice me..

>Pic related.

Dooooooood....woah....

>Does anyone know if "GINGER IN A PICKLE" is timed? Or once I RECIEVE the quest I can ignore it and go adventuring and come back when I please???

What's the point of all these cool moves when they always get blocked by the the most knave, pathetic bandit?

If your getting blocked you need to level your skills. Then you can wonder what the point of combos is when you can kill a bandit in two hits.

>master stroke with maces can kill

whoa what

Do combos actually work on armored, semi skilled NPCs like cumans?

Go in your statistics page and tell me how many combos you've performed, fuckboy.

I dunno man, dear hunting though. It's like the medieval economy ran on armour and poached animals. What that it were this way.

where the fuck are the cuman qts at?!

...

I'm using the bailiff's mace and just recently killed the faint hearted knight with one. A bunch of mercenaries eager for a duel have met the same fate.

I guess no one uses shortswords

go test it out brev

Yeah, they work well enough as long as your skills are good enough compared to them.

>I literally just accidentally alerted all the cumans.
>killed them all one by one with my longsword.
spend a long ass time looting.
>stroll through the camp setting fire to arrows and picking everything up as my horse is maxed out and I'm holding +1000lbs in weight.
>Little did I know, the upper ramparts had a fuck ton of even better armed men.
>all the sudden 5 men rushing out with pole arms and arrows everywhere.
>ride away to other side.
>two archers and another blasted cuman.
>Kill them one by one again.
>leave to uszhits and dump all my shit in the inventory.
>ride back.
>There's fucking more of them.
>Heavily armoured knight rides out and hands my ass to me.
>eventually kill him.
>ride away bleeding from the head.
>On the brightside, I have a hounskull and better greaves now.
This place is a fucking money farm.

>tfw you will never have a pure steppe waifu

sorry, user. i'm planning on doing a new run when the patch drops and doing a build like that. i'm guessing they are probably shit though. they don't have the reach of longswords or the damage of maces against armor

Best character

I do, but regret it

It's very good for mowing through lightly armored enemies, but that's it.

Hans is the best bro and best character, shut up

How do you get rare dice?

I'm assuming all the high-born speech benefits are going to come in part 3.

>spending 8 hours in a combat arena

I am Sir Henry, Bastard Son of Sir Radzig, Conqueror of the Cumans, Survivor of Skalitz. I will post my Teutonic Waffenrock in every thread until we get a Baltic Crusader DLC.

Someone mentioned a few threads ago they were binging medieval documentaries.
Any recommendations? Is Terry Jones' Medieval Lives good?

>horse can go faster than the arrows
>install faster arrow mod
>arrow can go in the stratosphere now

there are maybe like 6 'encounter' types that can happen. i wish the 'no more encounters' bug had happened to me. i've killed sir oslin 20 times.

jesus christ be praised

HELP

I TRIED TO SPEAK HUNGARIAN AND NOW THE ENTIRE CAMP IS CHASING ME

HOW THE FUCK DO I SABOTAGE THESE FUCKING ARROWS?

>tfw /richAF/

>Kill enemies.
>They die and drop their weapons.
>Can't find them in the bushes.

REEEEEE

Choking out Riddler and stealing his shit

Will the Realism Mod break my current save? Already put like 30 hours into this file and I don't really want to restart.

>Bastard Son of Sir Radzig

spoiler that shit

best hetero bro in the game. actually gets you laid and doesn't suggest any weird shared bathtub situation.

sorry you missed out on your 50th merchant's sword / battle axe

Does anybody else wear splinted leg armor, even though it's inferior to full plate, because they get triggered by how plate legs makes long gambesons clip for no reason?
