Hello Anons, and welcome to the /ddlc/ writing contest! Deadline is coming up tomorrow! Voting will start on the weekend!

There are two categories: comedy and drama. Comedy stories are the fics that leave your reader feeling happy at the end (or in other words, end in wholesome). Dramatic stories are those fics that leave the reader in a state of tense emotion. Note that all Dokis will be placed into the same pool! Consider your reader's biases when plotting out your story!

On /ddlc/, post the following: Your story's name, a short description (1-2 sentences), and a link to your fic. At the top of your post, link to the OP and write that this is for the /ddlc/ writing contest. If you don't, I will NOT include it.
I will check the OP's to every thread after thread #460 and add your story to the contest. I'll check at least once every day, so be patient!

Round two will consist of the top three(?) stories in each category, and we will repeat the process to determine our winner.

For use to be up here, we have to crush other organisms under our boots, like our livestock, predators, competitors, etc. Saying that things should be more equal among men is like saying that we should be concerned with the disparity between us and squirrels, cows, and bees.

War is natural and necessary. Monopolies, corrupt governments, exploitation of the disenfranchised are bad for human development, however. Monopolies obviously stifle development, efficiency, etc while corrupt governments are just full of leeches who do nothing useful. Exploiting the disenfranchised also performs a similar role as monopolies in that it is profitable but stops development in efficiency and innovation, because a stupid or weak populace cannot force anything to change. I don't know how many people actually have their fingers in these kinds of activities, and it's possible that no one will ever find out.

It is. Dokis are pretty sad so I've been looking back to 2hus for some relief. It manages to capture my imagination from time to time. The games are really fun and the music is pretty great too. It's a comfy time.
