It's the only one worth using but that's only because the other staffs are such shit.

Conflag isn't bad. Bolt is decent too since it has penetration and doesn't heat you up when you charge it anymore. Beam and Fireball are the only ones that are really hot garbage right now.

Hope there isn't still friendly fire on the harder difficulties anymore tho because then the flamenwerfer truly will be unplayable.

how is the Shade class?

It has good deeps. Good for removing bosses. Shit for trying to backstab everything else.

Anybody know any locations on the new map? We found one Tome and one Grimoire but that's it.

She's ok but needs some buffs. You just hope you don't get stuck on some geometry while using her dash.

She's not bad and her increased dodge distance helps. But she's not the best career, which makes her shit by default.

It just felt like a shittier bolt staff with worse heat management to me. Although I did only play one game with it.

I like the beam staff in concept but it kinda feels shit shit ingame, no dmg too much heat.

Played with them all multiple times yesterday, Beam is the only staff you're capable of being useful on, the M2+M1 blast hits harder than bolt staff and has no travel time and the M1 shotgun is incredibly effective against thicc packs, which lets you use the mace for single target dicking on armored lads with overhead spam
Granted I play on Pyromancer with friends doing grimoire runs, first two talents are 10% reduced overcharge and overcharge cools down 100% faster with a grimoire active so I guess it helps

All in all though, fire witch is pretty underpowered, wouldnt you agree?

I feel like Beam and Mace were the only playable weapons, which is pretty terrible

What's the strongest class right now? I've been playing the ranger and it seems broken. I've gotten top kills every game I've played because of her hero power. She's squishy though

People seem to agree that default Elf is OP as fuck and Ironbreaker is basically impossible to kill

Anyone miss having more than double the amount of ammunition in VT:1? Digging pretty much the whole game but I miss actually using ranged weapons with some frequency while not being elf or sienna.
Though on that playing salts rapier w/ infinite ammo is like being a 40k character & pretty great.

She gets better at 25 but only a bit. She's so mediocre. Great at defending but her passives don't give her much in the way of offense. She's great at reviving people too if you build the right way but why pick her when you can get default Kruber who has an AOE revive at level 25.

I'm not who you were replying to but having understood the crafting system I can say you're not thinking of the bigger picture.

If you salvage the items you get, you build up materials. Once you get the kind of item you want, you can just spend those materials to reroll its equipment properties or upgrade it into a higher quality item with a new set of random properties. If you don't get the item you want, you can just craft and pray for a green/blue craft , then you do the steps I outlined above until you're satisfied. You can even salvage oranges you don't need so you can reroll traits on the oranges you do want. The devs even made this whole process easier by giving you a chest that doesn't scale with your character's level, every single time you level up.

Reds are a different story.

Things coming from a box you get from completing a mission is no different from things dropping from Baal when you kill him, besides the animation. Boxes aren't to blame for random loot and if you could just pick a thing to get every time upgrading would be too straightforward and easy.

Elf's only weak spot (I talk about Waystalker which is the best career) are armored fuckers like Chaos Warriors, what are you talking about?

Best wave clear, best passive, one of the best ults if used properly, best in melee with dual blades, one of the best specials killing. Oh yeah and good "fuck you all I'm going alone" potential if you can dodge packmaster, assassin and leech.

So what the fuck does power actually do?

Incremental damage increase for every 50 points of power you have.
