Lunastra and Oroshi are part of the spring update as well.
There will be balance changes for older weapons, and "new" weapons added that aren't part of the Jho/Luna/Oroshi pack.
Alatreon is coming in the summer title set for July.
The pack will include Shaggy with the title update monster headliner being Zinogre. The Zinogre trailer will drop in April.
There will be a Shonen Jump crossover with Black Clover in May.
There will be a God of War crossover for Sony PS4 in June.
In May there will be a full Elder hunting Luna/Teo/Kushala/Kirin/Nerg.
In September there will also be the first release of a new map called the Shimmering Lagoon. It's half jungle and half lagoon with a series of caves connecting a hidden second lagoon. Plesioth, a new world subspecies of Royal Ludroth, a new world subspecies of Barioth, a new fanged wyvern based on a crocodile, and Chameleos.

Affinity is terrible as a stat itself. Go WE and Crit boost only if you're rolling in affinity. Grab a HC+3 charm and consider the Kush chest/Vaal greaves, maybe less if Axe of Demons doesn't use all 5 HC.

Tiers just drop different levels of Feystone. There are some decorations that you might not be able to get from Warped Feystones though, so the best is not always the best.

I should clarify that I meant go WE regardless (getting 3 with eyepatch/teostra gloves is too easy and negative crits suck), but affinity as a stat is terrible and crit boost is only worth it if you have something like 70% affinity, which means you're running a shit weapon.

All the event shit is low rank with no HR versions so far. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking.

Afaik Xeno, Zorah and Teostra don't have decos, or at least no one found them so far, which would be ridiculous considering thousands of hours were already poured into the game

Use the circle attack when sliding down an incline, dodge off of a ledge while in Demon Mode, or get served up by another hunter.

Teo's SA specifically has decent damage and alot of blast, when combined with Apothecary it's fucking ridiculous.
It only applies to his SA apparently since his other weapons dont get memed here alot.

Why is it ALWAYS the Fire Element monsters that end up making you feel like shit?

sadly while zenaserisu is a great monster there is little reason to ever fight it because its equipment is mostly terrible and no other monsters share the map besides HR5 gore

its a real shame too because the map is arguably the best in the game

You spend most of a fight looking at your characters back. The cape is all you'll see for most of all of your hunts

In my experience (Pink) Rathian drops a fuckton of footprints but almost none of them will give you investigations. I think I had the most luck with (Black) Diablos for T2. T3 requires 50HR and is dropped from Elder Dragons. Kirin, Teostra, and Kush seem to have the best investigation rates.

And neither lets you change the puke green on the coat.

Yes. Eat a nitro/parashroom instead as they are much easier to farm and give the same buff.
