If i'm trying to play a buff song and hit with it for damage I can easily get knocked out of it and that can lead to deaths.

I actually haven't used evade window in world yet, so I couldn't tell you. Old games I always ran evasion +1 or evasion+2 and dodged most roars with relative ease, but I don't know what the equivalent levels in world are.

I use earplugs in world anyway

Been using LBG since the start, never really did the slicing shot thing. But even with the buffs I feel like i'm doing very little damage with spread up + karma.

Is there a better LBG for this set up now? I just want to play ranged and shoot animals with my bros. But I don't really want to use the bow.

have you tried anja? that thing gets around 40 extra raw damage if you stomach the deviation and lack of affinity.
doesn't have spread 2 though but i prefer 1 anyway, i hate the kickback on spread 2 and feels like i'm doing even less dps.

HH main here. I can answer the questions you got.

Playing and hitting with a song is all about timing. Don't bother with follow ups if it's not safe, and don't be afraid to bail out right after playing if you need to and the buffs aren't needed IMMEDIATELY back up.

I've only encountered a few charm hackers in 4U, like less then 10 while doing GQs, nothing more than that and 4U was easy as shit to hack. Frontier has none either, so yeah.

No I haven't tried anja. Currently have most of the rank 8 LBG. Does it multishot spread 1 as well? That's why I used karma was for the multishot.

I usually do the triangle+circle / triangle+circle to get the lightning bolts out when you slash but I'm clueless about what I'm supposed to do to unleash the main power on the ground. yes. i used to roll the odo normal 2 rapid fire thing but i dunno, just feels like i'm shooting pellets.
