Nergigante is easy. Pick a decent SnS, hug the back legs to avoid almost every attack, guard against the dive bomb (still does about 50% damage when enraged, but should never kill you). Whatever you do, don't play online, because everybody else is shit and will constantly die even if you can take him without a single cart.

I just shot Zora Magdaros 100 times with a canon and now i have to do random expeditions while looking for ??? Rathalos tracks. This sounds like it's going to be annoying. Is it going to be annoying?

I was Lance on my Male playthrough and swapped to mostly SnS for Female and just beat Nergigante using the Anjanath SnS (highest raw at that point). Felt great.

Literally what the fuck? I tried going back to LBG/HBG against nergi but what the fuck is the point of using those when bow which deals more damage per second? Bow was supposed to be weaker than the other 2 for fuck sake.

i dont have a temp dogo to farm T2 invest, would that optional quest with vaal and doggo work as an alternative?

So did I. After 5 hunts I got all crowns, large and small, for everything else except for the Diablos. I have no idea why he held out on me for so long.

They were though. That loadout alone has more color than 95% of world with all of the weapons being "bone with some shit glued on" outside of some of the final weapons.

Monsters vary in size to some degree. If you get lucky and the monster is unusually small or unusually large, then you get a gold crown marked on its page in your notes. It's totally meaningless, but for some godforsaken reason Capcom decided to tie them to trophies.
