Not really, but nowadays the big fishing is reasonably easy to tackle. The hq fishing achievements are easy enough to do with patience 2, although still a grind (I'm at about 3k), and the hardest of those left that give titles or rewards is probably the level 50 title, of dragons deep, but that's more to do with the fact that some of the fish required have very infrequent windows.
