I'm getting frustrated about getting materials for bow and those "send guy and equipment" missions only bring like 2 aluminium, and don't know how loot respawns, should I leave the game running? sleeping in bed for how long? Loot respawns on an in-game timer IIRC. So you can either wait a day or two IRL or sleep a lot.
It's not at all time-gated like a mobile game. Nothing that runs on real-life time is necessary to play the game. You can easily get tons of food (make sure you make soup with canteens) and never run out of it, farms or no farms. Recon missions are inferior to just going out and collecting stuff or playing co-op.
But honestly if you need to be told this after completing the game you may just be retarded.
