It depends how regularly you play with people. I used to go to a local scene for GG all the time when I was younger. While there's a sense of camaraderie you get from playing with people in person, you can get that too from netplay when you meet the right people. That being said, having absolutely no delay is pretty nice and that's something netplay will never have. Also actual thuggery, but that depends on your location.

Are you on PC or PSN? Depending on your internet you might be able to get a somewhat decent connection to North American players.

I still don't know why but no one ever goes to lobbies. You're better off by going to a player room of making your own.

You get a knockdown with Venom and instead of doing the standard K-ball -> dashjump j.K you do K-ball -> dash superjump j.K to get high enough so no dp's can reach you and making a possible blitz track to the wrong side.
Add to your mental note you need to know how to properly punish Bandit Bringer/Riot Stamp/DI or you gonna get UNGA'd to death

You are both correct. I labbed some more and you can blitz through the setup, BUT the timing is such that you need to hold the blitz and Venom has to hit the held blitz that autotracks in order for him to be stunned. I believe it's possible to react to the held blitz by either grabbing the guy or going low. I feel the most reward the guy blitzing can get is a knockdown and when you keep in mind it's not as easy to get as a blitz from the normal setup, I think this is something worth learning.
Mad Struggle works. This is a new thing for me so I need to explore this more before I can say anything more. I still fail the dash superjump sometimes due to the input I use to make sure the j.K hits the ball so it'll take a while.

GGs all. Paragon you were doing well with Venom but you need to play the Pot matchup lamer. I see a lot of Venom's use air ball summon at different timing to avoid slidehead and leave a ball to teleport to get out of trouble. And don't just gatling into sweep into carcass raid or QV for pressure. You would force me to block a ball after a knockdown but without using TK mad struggle or a throw attempt I had no reason to do anything but block low and wait for my turn.
And Wolfy. You honestly improve a lot each time I see you play. Last time I saw you play I was thinking how you don't use bubble for oki and sure enough the moment you got a knockdown in the corner you bust it out. I think some late IAD/empty low pressure would help some as well since you would force me to respect the oki game in the corner but I got to FD out a lot and didn't need to block much high except for overheads. You keep improving a lot though and with a character that I honestly don't feel is that easy or that strong.
For the FD, I'm about to air dash cancel with f.s but I haven't gotten into the habit of doing yet, but it's something I'm definitely trying to work on. I'll keep the other things you said in mind, thanks for the advice!

Practice it on active bots, repeat in your head multiple times as a reminder of the thing you want to try during the match
