Yeah, Impmon sure loved his partners. Flat out ditched their asses until they grew up. Renamon also pretty much cut her ties with Ruki until she cooled down. The whole "partner are brainwashed to love you" was pretty much only true for adventure, where they were engineered to fit the kids.
