I played GE2 a bit and it's not even close to how good mh is. First of all trying to do a serious story in a mh clone is a big nono and it didn't help a bit because it's fucking terrible. Aragami and ost are way WAY too over the top aesthetically and on an orchestral level while the maps are fucking small time. The battle system is okay though and the amount of customization you can do to your weapons is quite extensive I just wish the game had more effort put into it. Quite literally a case of sounding cool on paper but executed poorly

One good thing about hunting clones is their skeleton variety, majorily because they don't aim to copy IRL like Wyvern Hunter World does.

I hate this stupid affinity is king meme. Weakness exploit should be 5 tiers of 10%,20%,30%,40%,50% and a level 3 decoration.

The deco farming really is fucking cancer in MHW. I get making certain drop rates really rare, but out of around T2 temper hunts I’ve gotten NOTHING worthwhile aside from ONE Weakness Exploit gem. This is fucking stupid and anti-fun. Were the grinds this bad in other MH?
