Summoner's kit is a deceptive bevvy of subtle nuances and clever tricks. What appears like straightforward magick at first glance quickly transforms into a bounty of optimizations, separating novice staff-wielders from true masters of the wind and earth.

There's good reason why I've stuck with this field of magical study for over two years now (barring a brief stint as a Blade Dancer during the earliest of days).

While dungeoneering can be fun in short bursts, and raids a real blast when organized by someone adept at herding cats... Some of my fondest memories exist among the many rolling hills, dusty dunes, and precarious mountainsides of this title's gorgeous Overworld.

Retreading old ground as new classes may seem stale in the here-and-now, but piecing together the realm's patchwork collection of stories through now-neglected sidequests set to some absolutely stunning backdrops are days I certainly won't soon forget.

Very seldom. Soulstones were life during the 45-cap era, so I ventured into the Arena under those conditions. But the current state of PvP is just depressing to even consider, much less how decidedly un-fun 6v6 Battlegrounds have become with such extreme power creep settling in.

You bet'cha. Playing it less than before due to other vidya drawing my attention for once (notably Them's Fightin' Herds before veterans chase out all the newcomers), but rarely has an MMO ever sunk its hooks into me so deeply as this unique title.
That said, Blade and Soul will most likely be the final MMO I truly commit myself into, after nearly a decade-and-a-half of bouncing around titles both new and old. The genre fades, and so must I move on in turn.
